The repentant, the worshipers, the praisers [of Allah], the travelers [for His cause], those who bow and prostrate [in prayer], those who enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, and those who observe the limits [set by] Allah [are true believers]— and give good tidings to [such] believers

﴾Surah Mubaraka At-Tawbah, Verse 112﴿

⚜️ Ali ibn Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him), regarding the noble verse:

"O you who believe! Be conscious of Allah and be with the truthful"
(Surah al-Tawbah, 9:119),

said: "The truthful ones (as-sadiqin) are none other than the Imams (peace be upon them). And this verse is connected to Allah’s earlier statement: 'And give glad tidings to the believers'."

⚜️Ali ibn Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said, regarding the verse:

"Those who repent, worship, praise, journey [for Allah’s sake], bow, prostrate, command the good, forbid the evil, and guard the limits set by Allah — give glad tidings to the believers!"

He explained:
“Those who command the good are those who recognize all forms of good — major and minor, hidden and apparent. And those who forbid evil are the ones who are aware of all types of evil — big and small. And those who guard the limits of Allah are those who recognize all divine boundaries, whether subtle or obvious. No one possesses [and cannot possess] these qualities except the Imams (peace be upon them).”

📜 Exploring the Status of Jannat al-Baqī‘ in Hazrat Quran and Hadiths

✔️ The third part

ا❁﷽❁ا

"By the fig and the olive"
(Surah At-Tin, Verse 1)

▶️ In the first verse of this surah, the word "Tin" (fig) in one interpretation refers to the city of Medina.

☑️ According to a noble Prophetic Hadith (peace be upon him and his family), "Tin" is one of the lands chosen by God, the Exalted, and that land is Medina.

(Surah Tin)

▪️God, the Exalted, has chosen four lands from among all the regions, and they are: Tin, Zaytun, Tur Sinin, and Al-Balad Al-Ameen —
as referenced in the verses of Surah At-Tin.

▪️The intended meaning of Tin is Medina; Zaytun refers to Bayt al-Maqdis; Tur Sinin is Kufa; and Al-Balad Al-Ameen is Mecca.

📓 Al-Khisal, vol. 1, p. 225
📓 Maʿāni al-Akhbār, p. 365
📓 Al-Burhān fī Tafsīr al-Qur’ān, vol. 5, p. 694

Therefore, in one interpretation, "Tin" refers to Medina — that blessed land which holds the pure body of the noble one from the family of Ṭā-Hā, Imam al-Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him); the pure land upon which the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) descended during his Miʿrāj (ascension) and performed prayer:

📓 Biḥār al-Anwār, vol. 18, p. 319

📓 Mustadrak Safīnat al-Biḥār, vol. 9, p. 349

🖋The city of Medina is known by its Master—by the possessor of the blessed sanctuary, Imam al-Hasan ibn ʿAli al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), the elder grandson of the Prophet. Therefore, Jannat al-Baqiʿ became known, recognized, and sanctified through the first Imam buried therein.

☑️The only Imam whose signs are found throughout Medina is the Master of the Youth of Paradise, Imam Hasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him). In every corner of the city, there is a trace or mark of his presence: Bayt ʿAli and Fāṭimah (peace be upon them), Masjid al-Nabī, the alleys of Banī Hāshim, and Jannat al-Baqīʿ.

🖋Thus, God, the Exalted, swears by "Tin" in the first verse of Surah At-Tin:

🔰An oath by the being who most resembled the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) — the Master of the Sayyids, who inherited the noble rank of the Prophet’s leadership;
An oath by the blessed sanctuary and its noble occupant;
An oath by the land of Medina, known and sanctified by the name of its master and sovereign, whose sacred presence is enshrined in Jannat al-Baqīʿ. From that moment on, the entire city of Medina took on the fragrance and hue of Hassan (peace be upon him).

#The_Blessed_Sanctuary

🔘Thus, the first verse of Surah At-Tin, in another interpretive dimension, expresses one of the intrinsic virtues of Imam al-Baqīʿ, Ḥassan ibn ʿAlī al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him), and signifies one of his exalted ranks and stations.

▶️In multiple narrations from Imam Jaʿfar al-Ṣādiq, Imam Mūsā al-Kāẓim, and Imam ʿAlī al-Riḍā (peace be upon them all), it has been explicitly stated that:

▪️The intended meaning of "Tin" is the noble master, the elder grandson — Imam Ḥassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).

📓 Tafsīr Furat al-Kūfī, p. 578
📓 Al-Burhān fī Tafsīr al-Qur’ān, vol. 5, p. 692
📓 Taʾwīl al-Āyāt al-Ẓāhirah fī Faḍāʾil al-ʿItrah al-Ṭāhirah, p. 787

▶️In one inner interpretation, "Tin" also signifies the existence of the Seal of the Prophets, the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family).

📓 Tafsīr al-Qummī, vol. 2, p. 429

▶️ And in another inner interpretation (bāṭin), "Tin" refers to the one who most resembled the Messenger of God — Imam Ḥasan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).

▪️No one resembled the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) as much as Ḥassan ibn ʿAlī (peace be upon him) did.

📓 Al-Irshād fī Maʿrifat Ḥujaj Allāh ʿala al-ʿIbād, vol. 2, p. 6

✔️He is the sacred being who was the fruit of the heart (thamrat al-fuʾād) of the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) — just as the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said that “Tin” is a fruit from Paradise:

📓 Biḥār al-Anwār, vol. 63, p. 186

✔️And specifically regarding his elder grandson (peace be upon him), the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) said:
"He is my son, my child, and the fruit of my heart."

📓 Al-Amālī (by al-Ṣadūq), p. 115

☑️The fact that "Tin" refers both to the existence of the Prophet’s elder grandson and to the Prophet Mohammad himself (peace be upon him and his family) signifies that all the Mohammadan attributes found their full and complete manifestation in al-Sayyid al-Sibt al-Akbar (peace be upon him).

As stated by Imam al-Ṣādiq (peace be upon him):

▪️The person who most resembled the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family) — in character, nobility, and conduct — was Imam Ḥassan al-Mujtaba (peace be upon him).

📓 Al-Irshād fī Maʿrifat Ḥujaj Allāh ʿala al-ʿIbād, vol. 2, p. 6

✔️And in another narration, from the blessed tongue of the Seal of the Prophets (peace be upon him and his family), it has been stated:

▪️All of my nobility and conduct belongs to him.

📓 Al-Irshād fī Maʿrifat Ḥujaj Allāh ʿala al-ʿIbād, vol. 2, p. 7

🖋Thus, “Tin” in one interpretation signifies the city of Medina and Jannat al-Baqīʿ, and in another interpretation, it points to al-Sayyid al-Zakī, Ḥassan ibn ʿAlī (peace be upon him) and his honored station as the one who most resembled the Messenger of God (peace be upon him and his family).

🏴Our condolences to the Holy Presence of Hazrat Baqiyyatullah al-A'zam (may Allah hasten His reappearance) and to the Shia and devotees of Aalullah on the martyrdom anniversary of Hazrat Imam Ja'far ibn Muhammad al-Sadiq (peace be upon Him).

ا▪️▪️▪️ا

🥀 The accursed Mansur al-Dawaniqi sent a message to Hasan ibn Zayd—his appointed governor over Mecca and Medina—saying:
“Set fire to the house of Ja‘far ibn Muhammad (PBUTh)!”

🥀 He carried out the order and set the house of Imam al-Sadiq (PBUH) ablaze. The flames reached the entrance and the corridor. The Imam (PBUH) emerged, walking calmly through the fire, saying:

▪️ “I am the son of A’raq al-Thara (a title of Prophet Isma‘il, PBUH);
I am the son of Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah (upon whom the fire of Nimrod became cool and peaceful.”)

Allah does not lead any people astray after He has guided them until He has made clear to them what they should beware of. Indeed Allah has knowledge of all things.

﴾Surah Mubaraka At-Tawbah, Verse 115﴿

‘Abd al-A‘la narrates: I asked Imam al-Sadiq (peace be upon him) about the verse of Allah, the Blessed and Exalted:

“And Allah would never mislead a people after He had guided them, until He makes clear to them what they should guard against.”

The Imam replied:
“[It means] until He shows them what pleases Him and what angers Him.”
Then he said:
“Indeed, we do not approve that a believer should act on something for which God does not accept ignorance as an excuse. Delaying action in times of doubt is better than rushing into destruction. Refraining from narrating a hadith that you have not fully memorized is better than narrating it. Truly, every truth has a reality, and every correct path has a light. So whatever agrees with the Book of Allah — take it; and whatever opposes the Book of Allah — leave it. Yet many people will not abandon what they are upon.”

⚜️Ali ibn Abi Hamzah narrates:
I said to Imam Musa al-Kazim (peace be upon him):
“Indeed your father (Imam Ja‘far al-Sadiq) had appointed his successor for us. If possible, please name your successor for us.”

The Imam took my hand, shook it, and recited:
“Allah does not lead any people astray after He has guided them until He has made clear to them what they should beware of [and they disagree].”

📜 Exploring the Status of Jannat al-Baqī‘ in Hazrat Quran and Hadiths

✔️ The fourth part

ا❁﷽❁ا

[This light] shines in houses which God has permitted to be raised and in which His Name is mentioned; there they glorify Him morning and evening.

✴️Surah An-Nur, Verse 36

💠In this noble verse, let us first briefly examine the word "Bayt" (house):

The word "Bayt" in the Arabic language means a dwelling (1) and refers to the home of a person where he stays at night (2). Rāghib states: "The term originally referred to a place of shelter for the night, and then it was more generally applied to any dwelling place regardless of the time of use." The plural form is "Buyūt". Additionally, the place of something may also be called a "Bayt", and the phrase "Ahl al-Bayt" (People of the House) has come to be widely known in reference to the household of the Prophet Mohammad (peace be upon him and his family). (3)

🔶According to the verses of the Noble Qur’an, the word "Bayt" is used in various contexts — such as:
• Homes (dwellings)
• The Kaʿbah
• Bayt al-Maʿmūr
• The Family of Prophethood
• Mosques and centers of remembrance of God
and others.

#The_Blessed_Sanctuary

✴️In this noble verse, commentators—based on various narrations—interpret the meaning of "Buyūt" (houses) as referring to:
mosques and places of worship and remembrance of God,
the houses of the prophets, and specifically, the house of Imam ʿAlī and Lady Fāṭimah (peace be upon them all). (4)

✳️In Ziyārat al-Jāmiʿah al-Kabīrah, Imam al-Hādī (peace be upon him) says:

▫️I bear witness that your souls, your light, and your essence are one; each of you has inherited purity from the other. God created you as lights, then placed you around His Throne, until He graced us with your existence. He placed you in houses which God has permitted to be raised and protected [from the reach of devils]. The salutations we send upon you and the guardianship (wilāyah) that has been granted to us through you are the cause of our good character and the purification of our souls.

✳️The Noble Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) interpreted “Buyūt” (houses) as referring to:
the homes of the prophets, and specifically, the house of Imam ʿAlī and Lady Fāṭimah (peace be upon them both):

🔘Ibn ʿAbbās narrates: "I asked the Messenger of Gof (peace be upon him and his family): 'Which houses are meant (in this verse)?' He replied: 'The houses of the prophets.'" Then he pointed with his hand to the house of his daughter, Lady Fāṭimah (peace be upon her).

Imam al-Bāqir (peace be upon him), in his commentary on this verse, states that the intended meaning of "Buyūt" includes the visitation (Ziyārah) of the Imams buried in al-Baqīʿ (peace be upon them), and he said:

🔶When you go to visit the graves of the Imams in [the cemetery of] al-Baqīʿ, stand before their tombs and face the graves, then say: Peace be upon you, O righteous Imams. Truly, you are the pillars of the religion and the foundations of the earth. You have always been the focus of God's attention. God brought you forth from pure loins and transferred you to pure wombs. The ignorance of the ignorant did not defile you, nor did the temptations of the lower self find a place within you. You were pure, and your origin and lineage were pure. God, the Bestower of reward, favored us through you and placed you in houses which He has permitted to be raised and in which His Name is mentioned. May our salutations upon you be a mercy for us and an atonement for our sins.
