New Pack Recommendations after Nomi CEU

Hey y'all! I'm looking to start a new modpack soon, but I am... woefully unfamiliar with the new modpack scene lol. I've spent 99% of my time in 1.7.10 or 1.2.5 packs (A few thousand hours in Tekkit Classic lol). I recently finished up Nomifactory CEU in about 351 hours, I really enjoyed that honestly. I also started and almost beat ATM9 a while back, but the world corrupted and almost all of my progress was destroyed by messed up and reset chunks.

I'm looking for essentially any pack, but I would definetly be more interested in a more difficult or expert pack as I find stuff like most of the ATMs really simple now (but I will always love Tekkit lol)

I was thinking about GTNH, but I'm not sure I have enough time to dedicate to that lol

Any keep inventory Alternatives?

I think keep inventory is making the game way too easy and removes a lot of the fun of survival. All I really wanted was my items to not de-spawn and lose all of my enchanted tools/armor as that takes hours to regain. What’s the best alternative mod to keep inventory?
