I am officially a pro.

So im playing all the mods 10 and got interested in evil craft so i figured i should have a stable source of blood. So i went looking for spawners and COMPLETELY freestyled a farm while fighting off pillagers. I am very proud of myself.

Looking for a chill Minecraft modpack

I'm trying to find a modpack that's more about building, farming and maybe following a story, rather than exploring same empty biomes.
I’d prefer:

Minimal randomness,
Not much need to go deep or long caving,
Not mobs spawning everywhere kinda like peaceful but still have resources
Maybe smart villagers that aren't just trade slaves
A bit of story or goals would be awesome too

Basically something relaxing but not boring.
Any suggestions?

Edit: I don't think I can play with randomness, eg. Oh, I mined 100 blocks of stone but no iron, oh I travelled 1000 blocks but no bamboo plant.

These time consuming achievements only pisses me off.

Just wondering if there is something even I can play as a last effort.

E2E Seriously, how do you automate ores?

Hey guys, I'm currently playing Enigmatica 2: Expert and I'm kinda stuck. Let me give some background first.

Since the beginning of the playthough my goal was to automate ore production. I come from Factorio where the first thing you do is automate mining, so I wanted to have a system where ores are automatically generated and then processed into other products.

Laser drill from Industrial Foregoing seemed like the perfect machine to do the job, but it takes a LOT of power. So I started a long journey to create NuclearCraft's Fission reactor and automate pink slimes to create Black lens. I was hoping that with enough lens I could automate Thorium production to feed into Fission reactor and then use the remaining energy to power everything else.

However, the project was a huge failure. First of all, you can't force an ore with lens, you can just increase the weights of all ores that correspond to that lens. I couldn't even come close to Thorium recycling itself, even when laser drill was taking all of my 3k RF/t generation. If I wanted more power I would also need more Thorium, which would require faster Laser drills...

I saw that Void ore miner exists but this is even later into the game and I'm assuming it takes a lot more power, which means I would need even faster ore generation to feed into reactors.

So my question is, how do you do it? Like how do you truly automate ore generation? To use automatic miners I need enormous amounts of power, and to create that amount of power I need ores. It's like an infinite loop that requires me to constantly mine for ores which I want automated. It doesn't feel like an automated factory if I constantly have to go mining to replenish resources.

Again, I may be looking at this the wrong way as this is my first tech-heavy modpack and I'm used to Factorio automation, where you automate absolutely everything, so I'm welcome to hear other opinions on this, even from other tech modpacks.

TL;DR: How to automate ore generation in E2E when it requires a lot of power, which requires more ores than it generates?

Thank you.

Could someone explain to me how GT pipes work? Why don't they extract items, or how I could automate this?

How do I fix underwater "bucket tech" to stop players from cheesing infinite breath?

I'm making a modpack and I'm trying to figure out how to prevent players from spamming a bucket against a wall to restore air underwater. The problem is that the block where their head is becomes air for a tick, and that's enough to restore a slight amount of air, so if you spam it repeatedly you can get your entire oxygen bar back without ever needing to actually find an air pocket, thus completely circumventing all the underwater mechanics in my pack.

How do I prevent this? Is it even possible?
