Se muestra aquí a un guerrillero del Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN) que fue abatido en febrero, probablemente durante combates contra guerrilleros rivales de las FARC.

Se le puede ver portando un AK-103, posiblemente de origen venezolano, y de pie junto a un lanzador de mortero improvisado, conocido localmente como “tatucos”.

Este en particular es un lanzador de triple cañón, lo cual resulta interesante. También se puede observar un proyectil de mortero improvisado colocado en posición vertical.

Catatumbo, Colombia 🇨🇴: ELN guerrilla with an improvised mortar

Shown here is a guerrilla from the Ejército de Liberación Nacional (ELN) who was killed back in February, likely during combat with rival FARC guerrillas.

He can be seen holding an Ak103, possibly of Venezuelan origin, and standing next to an improvised mortar launcher, known locally as “Tatucos”.

This one happens to be a triple barrel launcher which is interesting. An improvised mortar shell can also be seen stood up.

En la vía Padilla–Corinto, norte del Cauca, fue asesinado Juan Carlos Ceballos, supervisor de seguridad de un ingenio azucarero. Hombres armados lo atacaron y posteriormente incineraron el vehículo en el que se movilizaba. El hecho se suma a la escalada violenta en la región. Autoridades investigan.

El sujeto, con más de 10 años de trayectoria criminal, estaría implicado en homicidios, extorsión e intimidación a la población civil. El resultado debilita la capacidad delictiva en el suroeste antioqueño.

With over 10 years of criminal activity, he was linked to killings, extortion and intimidation. The operation weakens the group’s presence in southwestern Antioquia.
