🇮🇷/🇦🇪/🇺🇸 NEW: Iran received Trump's letter today from a UAE envoy. It was 'opened, read, and promptly ignored' – Sources

🇮🇷/🇺🇸 Iranian Member of Parliament:

'America is a country made up of weak people. Their people nowadays are not the same as those who landed in Normandy, or those who stormed Okinawa, They don't know what war is. Their society is weak, and their politicians are risk-averse.

War against a conventional enemy will tell them an entirely different story than Iraq or Afghanistan.

Of course, if there is a war, it won't be on American soil. But neither will it be on Iranian soil. Trust me, they will not manage to step even one foot in Iran.

The moment their sons start returning home in coffins, they will back down. America has not fought a real war in 50 years.'

🇮🇷 WATCH: In today's meeting with Iranian students, one young man asked the Supreme Leader a question

Student: 'We fear that the idea of being absorbed into the global order, or the idea of normalization, will penetrate our security and military officials, and turn them into mere diplomats and statement writers, in the midst of an existential conflict with the infamous Zionist enemy.'

Khamenei: 'The military and security officials that were responsible for the power dimensions of our country, acted at the times it was right to act. However, there are certain things the public does not know of, certain secret aspects. Without knowing this information, one cannot accurately claim whether not acting in a certain situation was right or wrong. You cannot say 'act now' without knowing details.'

🇮🇷 📝 Supreme Leader of Iran, Ayatollah Khamenei, on Operation True Promise:

'Some of the students complaints and criticisms of the authorities are due to ignorance. How so? For example, suppose that Operation True Promise was not carried out at the time that it was, but rather it was carried out at different time.

They say: 'If it had been carried out at such and such a time, for example, earlier, then such and such an incident would not have happened.'

Well, this is not true. This is not true. Those who are in charge of these matters cannot be accused of having any less attachment, dependence, love, and dedication to the revolution than you or me.

They are continuously calculating, they are calculating different decisions and different possible outcomes, and they work with assessing risks. What they do, if you were in their place, you would do the same thing.

In addition, there are many secret aspects and relevant things that ordinary people do not know about. Without knowing about these, how can you say 'we should have done' or 'we should not have done'? The military and security officials possess all the details, you do not.'

🇺🇳🕵️‍♂️🇮🇱🇵🇸⚠️ BREAKING: A UN Commission's OHCHR investigation uncovers a systematic pattern of sexual, reproductive, and gender-based violence against Palestinians perpetrated by Israeli authorities since October 2023.

The report documents multiple abuses that are deliberately employed as tactics of war and control over Palestinian populations.

Key findings include:

➡️ Sexual and gender-based violence as a war strategy:
— Israeli security forces are alleged to use forced public stripping, sexual harassment, threats of rape, and sexual assault as routine procedures against Palestinians.
— Testimonies indicate that rape and genital violence have been committed under direct orders or implicit encouragement from higher authorities.
— Israeli settlers in the West Bank are reported to have used sexual violence to terrorize and displace Palestinian communities, acting with apparent impunity.
— The report underscores that sexual violence is used as a deliberate tool of war, not as random acts of aggression, with numerous survivor testimonies detailing both physical and psychological trauma.

➡️ Destruction of reproductive healthcare and genocidal intents during the war:
— Israeli forces have systematically targeted and destroyed sexual and reproductive healthcare facilities in Gaza, including maternity wards and key fertility clinics.
— The blockade and denial of critical medical supplies have led to high maternal and infant mortality, an outcome that may qualify as extermination under international law.
— These measures align with genocidal criteria under the Rome Statute and Genocide Convention, as they deliberately create conditions for the physical destruction of a population and impose measures to prevent births.

➡️ Mass civilian targeting and directed violence against women and girls:
— The report documents extensive use of heavy explosives and bombings in residential areas, leading to a significant rise in civilian casualties, especially among women and girls.
— Women, girls, and maternity patients have reportedly been deliberately targeted, which the report classifies as both crimes against humanity and war crimes.
— These actions have been classified as crimes against humanity and war crimes, reflecting the deliberate and systematic nature of the violence.

📝The OHCHR investigation further corroborates these findings through detailed testimonies and case studies, emphasizing that these are not isolated incidents but part of a broader strategy to undermine the autonomy and dignity of Palestinian communities.

The OHCHR report criticizes the international community for its insufficient response to these systemic abuses. The report calls for urgent international accountability, comprehensive legal measures to protect victims, and significant reforms to halt these human rights violations.

🇮🇷/🇧🇾 NEW: Iran and Belarus have signed a strategic defense cooperation agreement in Minsk

❗️🇺🇸/🇷🇺/🇺🇦 NEW: The US-Russian negotiations regarding a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine are now ongoing in Moscow

@Middle_East_Spectator
❗️🇷🇺/🇺🇦 Putin: 'We support efforts for a ceasefire, but we prefer a long-lasting one. The 30-day ceasefire would be in favor of Ukraine, considering that its forces are stuck on all sides in Kursk, and additionally Ukraine could use this ceasefire to force full mobilization or obtain additional weapons'

@Middle_East_Spectator
Speech over. Putin did not say anything indicating Russia will accept the 30-day truce, actually, quite the opposite.

Which makes total sense. There's no reason why Russia should accept a truce currently, they're about to make a breakthrough.
❗️🇺🇸/🇵🇦 NEW: 'The United States may use military force to 'swiftly take control' over the Panama Canal' – Sources citing Trump Administration insiders
