VisionFund MFI is currently looking candidates for the position of Senior IT Auditor position based at the Head Office. The successful candidates will have skills and experience that meet the following requirements:
1. Job Summary
The primary objective of the job is to perform advanced level and/or professional IT auditing work to analyse and assess the company’s Systems and technological Infrastructure to ensure processes and systems run accurately and effectively, while remaining secure and in compliance with policies and regulations. The Senior IT Auditor participate in developing the strategic and annual IT audit plan and maintains organizational and professional ethical standards set on the internal audit charter and code of conduct.
2. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:-
• Document everyday tasks as stated in the Audit plan
• Present Audit status report daily/weekly/monthly
• Examine internal IT controls, evaluate the design and operational effectiveness, determine exposure to risk, and develop remediation strategies
• Plan, implement, monitor, and upgrade security measures for the protection of organization’s data, systems and networks
• Performs information control reviews to include Database system, Network and infrastructures, Core banking application, Operating system, Data center & Disaster Recovery, backup, system security, and other applications

Resilience in Pastoral and Agro-pastoral Areas (RIPA) is a five-year initiative (2020 – 2024), implemented by PCI, iDE and GOAL, targeting pastoral and agro pastoral communities in Borana, Guji, South Omo and Dawa. The purpose of RIPA is to improve resilience through improved food security and inclusive economic growth, it is supported by USAID in Ethiopia with a budget of $30 million.

Handles calls and keeps updated log of telephones and addresses of the Society’s VIP personnel and a telephone directory of emergency services (fire brigade, police, ambulance, etc) as well as that of private and public organizations that have work partnership with the Society;
Maintains the telephone apparatus she/he is using in good conditions; Communicates telephone bills to concerned staff for timely settlement; Controls long-distance private calls and keeps proper records for personal bill settlement;

About the Ethiopian Red Cross Society
The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) was established in 1935 and is one of the oldest and largest humanitarian organizations in Ethiopia. ERCS provides services to communities affected by natural and manmade disasters through the provision of emergency responses, ambulance and first aid, family reunification, essential drugs, water and sanitation, and other humanitarian services. ERCS also runs disaster risk reduction programs with the aim of creating resilience households and communities. Currently the ERCS has a structure consisting of 12 Regional Offices, 34 Zonal Branches and 131 District/Woreda Branches, 599 Woreda Red Cross Committee and 5871 Kebele Red Cross committees.
ERCS also runs disaster risk reduction programs relating to food security, climate change adaptation, livelihood diversification, and institutional capacity building interventions, with the aim of creating resilience households and communities. ERCS works in partnership with the Ethiopian Government, International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (IFRC), International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), partnering National Societies, members, volunteers and the communities we serve.
