but the journey in building this community is soooo fun, we started with many newcomers from miniapps

Later like 4 months after running this, I got an opportunity shared by Bang Yogi, the owner of Indonesian Crypto Community: Airdrop Empire (@yogiczbaeng)

someone (now, my working partner) asks if there's any person in taking the opportunity as a Community Manager (now which you know as @BintangCryptoNews) and until now.

To be honest, I have ZERO freaking experience in managing community on telegram. Lots of candidates also have been there long before me I think. I was so insecure because I'm fighting for a spot against some people from other gud indo communities.

Guess what?

Yes, I ended up daring me, challenged myself.

I told the person (now working partner) that I have no experience at this, but I do have a community (this channel) that I create "for fun".

At that time, this channel just had like 10-12 subscribers. I'm taking my shot, kalo ga berhasil juga yaudah. I need a job, desperately need to land one fucking job back then.

You know what? The person who is looking for a CM puts his attention on me. He asked me to join a google meet. He wants to know me more, and do a bit of talk

I was so scared because it's like the first time I met someone, who turns out that he's Korean who lived (studied) in Indonesia for 6 years.

He's pretty chill and he said that he likes me (idk why), and I have like 99% of chance to fill the spot lol. Discussed some stuff, and done.

days after, started as CM at the community.

It's not possible to left what I have built. so, I need someone to take care of me because I was "adapting" to my job.

I hired this woman, which now you gonna see her around on Ave.ai Indonesian Community.

She's a good friend of mine, we talked a lot on English Group Chat.

Point is: She doesn't even know or understood single shit about crypto, but she said "Yes" after negotiating couple times.

Paid her $30, so it's $1 per day to do some shenanigans.

Literally taking her chance here on something that she doesn't even understood a single shit. I promised to give her a gud 101, minimum basic.

It's always hard to start from totally zero, or even -1. But she made it. Countless days of making tough decisions taken.

After this, team started to expand

• Dead Sea (deadsea0x on twitter), third core member & team
• Zeen (zzenerooo on x or smth), 2nd CM after Kate stepped down to focus on school
• Zaluce (luceurbae on X), once a coder now turned into funded fx trader
• Jeju (jejujav on x), a degen
• Val (valgregoryyy on x), new intern / SMM

then made some new friends with great people from other community & collective (Whaam, LoC, Gado-gado Web3, Valuble, etc)

there's hell of a story here, and love how people made their own unbelievable story that maybe their parents won't even believe that it was their son/daughter

Ow yesh, speaking about myself (Keiko), I also offered by the same person as a Business Development for their co-owned Web3 Marketing Agency.

Started reaching out Indo KOLs & worked together so far for 3 projects. This is maybe my 2nd year (omw to 3rd year). Started May'24 on tap-tap era.

The trust they put on me is so 📈 that I never thought that I'll get this opportunity despite of my zero experience.

Hell of a story. we are not rich guys (yet), but we're writing our hell of a history / biography, trying to live the dream that we never thought we would be here and still even trying to push ourselves with the hunger within.

and some others:

- gimana sih caranya? pengen belajar juga

jadiin kata "belajar" cuma buat excuses yang bahkan mereka showing interest / output nya aja ga ada, boro-boro mau bring some value.

yang membedakan orang itu sebenernya gak ada, tapi semua orang lahir dengan "bakat". Tapi ini bukan soal bakat.

in the context of surviving, mentality (mentalitas) plays as a key. Orang-orang yang mentalnya do the talk, berani, most of them will make it & have better living.

Meanwhile kalo nol terus, kebanyakan "what if I failed?" "gimana kalo hasilnya jelek?" "gimana kalo kalah", they are ngmi karena dari cara mikirnya aja udah -EV

Malu sih kalo ada orang lain yang dengan segala keterbatasannya bisa change their life bermodal tekanan dan mentalitas. Sementara lu cuma bisa when yah atau nyari celah:

"ah dia mah jago"
"ah bapaknya dia mah punya sawit puluhan hektar"

ya sori, ngmi. jangan lupa kebanyakan orang yang terlihat sukses atleast sudah pernah merasakan kegagalan dalam bentuk yang beragam. lah ente nyoba aja ga pernah malah mikir takut gagal wok 🫵😹

ga paham > belajar
ga ngerti > cari tau
ga jago > cari orang yang jago, ambil ilmunya
ga ada duit > cari duitnya
