There’s nothing like welcoming fresh, young talent into the studio and watching them get lost in their element. There’s such an abundance of creatives out there, and the future of Jewish music seems bright as ever to me!⚡️

When I ask singers in the studio if they’re up for jamming, the response is almost always the same: “Sure! What do you have in mind?” And my answer never changes—“Nothing particular. Whatever you FEEL. What’s the first thing song that comes to you without thinking?” The magic happens when we stop thinking and start feeling. And that’s why, on the other side of the screen, you don’t just hear it. You FEEL it. 💥

A tefillah only a parent could write, but only a child’s innocence could carry it that high. 🫶

Heading into Shavuos, I’ve been reflecting on just how much my life has changed for the better since committing to learning with a chavrusa every single day, no matter what.

I’ve seen every area of my life shift- emotionally, spiritually, even practically. And it’s no surprise… the Torah is our blueprint, after all. The more I tap in, the more grounded, clear and fulfilled I feel. I only wish to keep learning more and more.

A huge thank you to my chavrusa, Shia Freund, for sticking with me, despite my often crazy hours, and for the meaningful learning we’ve built together.

And now, getting to learn side by side, just moments before Shavuos, in the mountains no less (fitting, isn’t it?)… it’s the perfect way to welcome Matan Torah.

Wishing you a gut Yom Tov, and may we all be zoche to taste the sweetness of Torah in every area of our lives!

As we head into the Yomim Noraim, a time of tefillah and reflection, Sruly Green and I got together to prepare and get into the “Tishrei” mode. This medley is made only of vocals and piano - simple, authentic, and straight from the heart. May Hashem answer all of our tefillos for a happy, healthy new year ahead! 🫶

On stage, we’re all watching and listening just as much as we’re performing.

I was fully locked in on Beri Weber’s moment and had no idea that behind me, Ishay Ribo was locked in on mine. I was humbled to see this picture afterward.

Like they say: if you’re not in a room of people who inspire you, you’re not in right the room.

We’re all reeling.

Our family in Australia attacked and murdered in cold blood for the “crime” of being Jewish and celebrating Chanukah… It feels like the blows don’t stop coming.

Last week, I watched videos of the murdered hostages marking Chanukah in the tunnels of Gaza with mesirus nefesh. Their purity was unmistakable. They spoke about the Chanukah songs we sing, songs that acknowledge enemies rising against us, yet always end with survival, with light. One of the hostages commented that one day, a new paragraph would have to be added - to tell their story. The hope in their voices was unwavering. They truly believed they would return to their families.

And now… we are reliving these atrocities again.

How many more trials will we endure as a people?
How many more paragraphs will we be forced to write into our history?
