📢 Mendel Update — Phase I & Marketplace Direction
Phase I: Core Protocol Implementation
Mendel is now fully focused on Phase I, the foundation phase of the protocol.
This phase is dedicated to locking in the parts of Mendel that must be correct before anything else scales — privacy guarantees, transaction correctness, and minimal on-chain mechanics.
Phase I priorities:
✅ Defining Mendel’s privacy model and threat assumptions
✅ Implementing the core on-chain verification flow
✅ Ensuring minimal, auditable public state
✅ Proving correctness before introducing economics or incentives
There are no token mechanics, no crazy airdrops, and no public pressure in this phase.
The objective is durability, not speed.

The Mendel Marketplace (Direction)
Alongside Phase I work, we are formalizing the Mendel Marketplace as a layer built on top of the protocol.
The marketplace is designed around task outcomes, not speculation.
As autonomous systems and AI agents become more capable, the same work is repeated across many systems. The Mendel Marketplace is intended to reduce this redundancy by enabling task outputs to be exchanged and settled privately and verifiably on-chain.
At a high level, the marketplace is designed to support:
🤝 Exchange of completed task outputs
🔒 Private verification of task completion
✅ Settlement without exposing sensitive data
This is not a separate product and not a launch announcement.
It is a direction enabled by the protocol foundations being built in Phase I.
