Boys,
Just wanted to let you all know that I’ll be stepping away from crypto for a while.
It’s been one hell of a journey. Crypto has given me more than I could’ve ever imagined. The money, the opportunities, the friendships, the memories… I honestly wouldn’t be the person I am today without this space.
But I think it’s time.
I’ve sold everything, closed every position, repaid the money I had borrowed, and decided to move on for now. I don’t want to keep chasing every new narrative or convincing myself that the next trade will change everything.
Maybe I’m just nostalgic, but crypto doesn’t feel like it did back in 2021. Back then it felt like people actually wanted to build. Communities were stronger, conviction mattered, and if you put in the work you could genuinely get ahead. Today everything moves at a speed that feels impossible to keep up with. Narratives last a day, attention disappears overnight, and too often it feels like everyone is just trying to be first to dump on the next guy.
I’m not saying the opportunities are gone. There will always be people who make insane money. I just don’t think I have the same fire for it anymore, and I don’t want to force something that no longer feels the same.
Instead, I want to spend more time focusing on my businesses, my family, and the people around me. Those things deserve my full attention.
Mena Cabal has honestly been one of the best communities I’ve ever been part of. I’ve met some incredible people here, made friendships I’ll keep for life, and shared countless late-night VCs, market insanity, celebrations, and painful rugs with you all. Those memories mean a lot more to me than any portfolio ever will.
Maybe one day I’ll come back if the spark returns. Maybe I won’t. Who knows.
I genuinely wish every single one of you the best. I hope you catch the next runner, print more money than you know what to do with, and keep winning.
Thank you for everything, boys. It’s been an honor sharing this journey with you all.
Take care of yourselves, and I’ll see you around.
Much love.❤️
