Manchester United executives have held face-to-face talks with Liam Delap.

Delap was given permission by Ipswich Town to travel to Manchester to get a firsthand sense of what a transfer to Old Trafford would entail.

Under the terms of the contract, Cunha's compensation clause is to be paid in three installments: the first upon signing, then two equal parts over the following two years, but it remains to be seen whether United will try to negotiate more favorable terms.

Liam Delap will speak to all suitors, including Chelsea, before deciding. United is also considering Bryan Mbeumo, Viktor Gyökeres, and Victor Osimhen. #MUFC [Laurie whitwell]
