#LAMP Fellowship 2024-25

The LAMP Fellowship is not an internship. In their work with MPs, LAMP Fellows work as full-time professionals with MPs for the entire duration of the Fellowship.

#Eligibility
LAMP Fellowship is open to candidates who are 25 years of age or below
Candidate must have at least a Bachelor's degree in any academic discipline.
Only Indian citizens are eligible for the LAMP Fellowship.

#Duration
The Fellowship starts from the middle of June with a rigorous 1-month long training. The Fellows will be assigned to their respective Member of Parliament during the Monsoon session of Parliament and will continue to work with the MP till the end of the Budget session the following year.

#Location
Fellows are required to be in New Delhi for the duration of the Fellowship.

5. UP Government Announces 1-year Free Computer Course For SC, ST And OBC Candidates
The Uttar Pradesh government has announced a free one-year course in computers for the youth belonging to the Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Other Backward Classes. As per the guidelines of the UP government, the students will receive this training at the Regional Service Yojana Office.

7. ServiceNow, AICTE sign MoU to skill over 10,000 students
ServiceNow, a U.S.-based digital workflow company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) under the Ministry of Education, to train over 10,000 students on the ServiceNow Platform in the first year. The strategic partnership has the goal to potentially scale up to 25,000 students within three years.

8. Govt Nod For 37 New MU-Affiliated Colleges In City
The city has received a nod from state govt to start 37 new colleges affiliated to University of Mumbai. Of these, 15 new colleges seek to offer courses in legal studies.
These colleges, which are approved for three- and five-year LLB courses, will largely be at Bhandup, Borivli, Nalasopara, Kalyan, Mahad, and Ratnagiri, said sources.
