Dear MAE students,

MAE Club is conducting a survey to better understand how MAE students revise and prepare for tests and examinations. Responses collected from the survey will be shared with the school's professors during the upcoming MAE Town Hall on 17 January 2024, for the school to better understand our academic concerns. This survey will take no more than 5 minutes to complete.

Here is the link to the survey: https://forms.office.com/r/wwcqB7TkdD. Please note that the survey will close on 20 November 2023, 2359 hours.

Thank you for taking the time to complete this survey!
Dear MAE students,

Looking for a study spot in school to revise for your final examinations πŸ“š? Don't worry as MAE Club has that covered with our own revision rooms! From 20 to 23 November 2023, we will be providing study rooms to provide MAE students with a conducive studying environment!

Here are the details regarding the study rooms:
20 November:
Venue: LHN-TR+24
Time: 0900 - 1900

21 - 23 November:
Venue: LHN-TR+33
Time: 0900 - 1900

Please note that no pre-registration is required, and the rooms will only be open to MAE students.

All the best for finals!
Dear MAE students,

This is a reminder to fill in the academic survey by today, 2359 if you have yet to do so! All feedback collected will be relayed to the school to help them better understand the way MAE students revise and prepare for examinations, as well as our other academic concerns.

Regarding past year paper solutions, please note that due to the school's stance on student-provided solutions, MAE Club is not selling any PYP solutions for profit. However, please be assured that we will use the feedback from the survey to work with the school to improve the revision process for everyone in MAE.

All the best for finals!
Dear Students,

Have you ever wanted to experience what it is like to work overseas? Enhance your internship by joining the Maritime & Port Authority of Singapore’s Global Internship Award (MPA GIA) where you can gain overseas exposure and network with industry professionals in maritime! All disciplines are welcome to apply.

Developed by the MPA in 2013 and administered by the Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) with effect 2024, the MPA GIA is a talent development programme targeting local, high-achieving undergraduate students in their penultimate year from both maritime and non-maritime disciplines in universities. The programme aims to raise awareness of the importance of the maritime industry to Singapore and the global economy, as well as increase their understanding of the enriching and rewarding maritime career opportunities available.

The MPA GIA involves a 12-week programme with maritime companies from May to October and includes a stint at any of their overseas offices for up to 6 weeks. MPA will fully cover the GIA allowance, the costs of a return economy-class airfare, overseas accommodation, travel and travel-related expenses (e.g. insurance). For the programme duration in Singapore and overseas, students will undergo structured experiential learning with the host companies and gain hands-on industry exposure to deepen their industry knowledge.

Please register your interest here!

Remember to join us on our virtual sharing sessions on 4th and 11th December 2023, Mondays at 4.30pm to find out more.
