🔗 Listen now: podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-life-stylist/id1121467751?i=1000763401190
In this episode, Alyson and I answer listener questions covering conspiracy theories, biohacking regrets, and the psychology of escapism.
Tune in to find out why I stopped trying to prove what really happened during major world events and started focusing on what I can verify. I also share the one health experiment I wish I could undo, and what it taught me about the difference between forcing results and partnering with my body.
Alyson opens up about her years in semi-retirement and a recent realization: her service to others never stopped, it just became invisible. We move into how masculine drive and feminine subtlety carry their own power.
The episode is an honest conversation about escapism, porn addiction, sugar cravings, and the painful process of real behavioral change. My advice: map out what you're running from before you fix what you're running toward.

Imagine spending thousands on regimens and wellness treatments while the place you live is working against you.
Recovery happens in the hours after work when your system is supposed to downshift. It happens while you sleep. It happens in those quiet moments when your body finally gets the chance to repair, regulate, and recharge.
The problem is: most homes aren’t actually built for recovery anymore. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, devices in every room, constant notifications, and a background load of invisible stress your nervous system still has to process.
That’s one of the many reasons I use Quantum Upgrade.
It helps harmonize the energetic environment of my home so the space I live in feels more supportive and less disruptive. Instead of just throwing more supplements and routines at myself, I’m upgrading the container where recovery actually takes place.
What I’ve noticed is simple but real. Deeper sleep. Better mood. Clearer thinking. And a calmer baseline that carries into the rest of my day.
If you’re putting effort into your wellness but ignoring the space where you spend most of your life, you might be missing the most important piece.

This could be the hidden reason you’re waking up tired.
Most people think once the lights are off, the room is calm. But in many homes, voltage is still present in the walls, outlets, lamps, extension cords, and wiring surrounding the bed. That creates electric fields your body can interact with all night long.
So even though the room looks quiet, your sleep environment might not be.
In Module Four of my EMF Home Safety Master Class, building biologist Brian Hoyer and I test this in real time. We shut off breakers, isolate circuits, and measure what happens to the body when nearby sources are energized versus disconnected. The difference can be immediate and eye-opening.
Why should you care? Because your bedroom is where your body is supposed to repair tissue, regulate hormones, clear metabolic waste from the brain, and reset the nervous system. If that space is electrically noisy, recovery can struggle to fully switch on.
The good news is: many electric field issues are fixable. Sometimes it’s changing lamp placement, moving the bed, unplugging nearby devices, or shutting down specific circuits at night.
Because better sleep isn’t always about adding more hacks. Sometimes it’s about removing what never belonged there in the first place.

Your body already makes one of the most powerful antimicrobials on Earth, and almost nobody knows about it.

Hypochlorous acid lives inside your white blood cells. When you get cut, burned, or scraped, your immune system sends it to the injury site to kill bacteria, calm inflammation, and support healing. Scientists have known how to replicate it for over a century, but until recently, it couldn’t stay stable long enough outside a hospital to be bottled.
Justin Gardner spent 20 years launching regenerative medical products, including skin grafts and advanced wound care technologies. When he came across hypochlorous acid, he saw something different: a non-toxic antimicrobial that works fast and aligns with how the body already heals. He licensed the technology and built Active Skin Repair to bring it to consumers.
In this conversation, we get into how it compares to things like colloidal silver and manuka honey, why most products labeled “hypochlorous acid” don’t actually work, and how it’s being used for everything from post-surgery recovery to everyday skin issues.
🔗 For the next week, The Life Stylist loyal listeners can get their biggest discount, 25% off all Active Skin Repair products, when you go to lukestorey.com/skinrepair and use code LUKE at checkout. After May 5th, code LUKE will still get you 20% off.
