Dear all,

🌟 as we promised here it comes the first Reading Club session with the bestseller book β€œ451 Fahrenheit”.

🌟 Dr. Viktoriya Levinskaya will facilitate the session.

🌟 Ray Bradbury’s 1953 novel Fahrenheit 451 is set in a dystopian society that burns books in order to control dangerous ideas and unhappy concepts.

🌟 The novel tells the story of Guy Montag, a fireman who questions the book-burning policy and undergoes extraordinary suffering and transformation as a result.

🌟 An acclaimed film adaptation was released in 1966, then in 2018. You can find the films through these links :
1966 and 2018.

🌟 This is the
link to the session.

See you.
Dear students,

🌟 We are pleased to announce that LRC is reopening for returning and checking out of books. Acknowledging the current risks with COVID-19, the university decided to minimize the number of students in the Main Entrance at any one time. This means, no students are allowed in the campus and all services will be provided in the office next to the Inquiry office.

βœ… For smoother circulation of the books, we have shortened the due dates as well. All details on how to borrow items can be found through the link (Intranet/University Library/Reserve a library visit).

‼️ Important:
You can reserve items WHICH ARE ON THE SHELVES (OPAC shows them as "IN").
