RFK Jr explains new dietary guidelines for Americans (1 min, 57 sec):

- Focus on high-quality proteins and healthy fats; reduce emphasis on carbohydrates.
- First explicit warnings against ultra-processed foods and additives.
- Lift restrictions on full-fat dairy and natural fats.
- Stricter limits on added sugars and non-nutritive sweeteners (avoid entirely for young children).
- Support for lower-carb approaches where evidence shows benefits.
- New emphasis on gut health via fiber-rich and fermented foods.

Core Recommendations:
- Proteins (eggs, meat, seafood, beans, nuts) in every meal.
- Healthy fats from avocados, olives, nuts, full-fat dairy, olive oil.
- At least 3 servings vegetables and 2 servings whole fruits daily.
- 3 servings dairy daily (full-fat options encouraged).
- Whole grains preferred; limit refined grains.

This is how Instacart got exposed accessing your personal data to algorithmically adjust grocery store prices based on each person (dynamic pricing)

The investigators at More Perfect Union say this is starting to happen everywhere and needs to be regulated

The held an experiment with a bunch of people in a room, everyone ordered the same 20 items to the same address. Each one from their personal phone. The app Instacart gave everyone different prices

After researching they found 3 different prices were available for everyday items like cereal, adjusted based on your data

After being caught Instacart denied they were using dynamic pricing but announced they were no longer going to adjust prices based on data
