Tip — updating old links

If an old Link Chan message has a faulty proxy link, forward that message back to @linkchanbot. It'll recognise the "source" link and will provide you a new proxy link with the latest default proxy.

Fix — forwarded messages

@linkchanbot will now ignore it's own messages in group chats. This means no more duplicates!

Link Chan's own messages forwarded to itself will still be recognised and substituted, so you can continue to update your old faulty links.

@linkchanbot is now up and running live. Some quick fixes were added after a library's major version was updated. Link Chan is in need of a rewrite to accommodate for the changes in the long term. Support for fxtwitter and vxtwitter

The popular fxtwitter.com and vxtwitter.com domains, which are used throughout Telegram for better link previews, but merely redirect to twitter.com links, are now supported for conversion to proxy links.

Try posting a fx- or vx- link to Link Chan.

#player appended to YouTube links

Links resulting from YouTube links will have a #player fragment appended to them. This will make your browser auto-focus (scroll to) the video player box in Invidious, a useful feature.
