Today’s plan 🎯

I’m off today for Mawlid, so I thought I’d use the day to get a few things done.

My goals are pretty simple and, hopefully, achievable:

→ Finish the landing page I’ve been working on for a client
→ Add one more feature/tab to the dashboard I’m working on
→ Hopefully come up with a logo for this little channel

Let’s see how much I can actually get done today. 😅

Progress update

I actually finished both things I had planned for today the client landing page and the dashboard feature.

I didn’t manage to finish the logo for this channel though 😭 But at least I finally found some inspiration and have a better idea of where I want to take it.

Overall, pretty happy with today’s progress.

Okayyy… I’m finally designing the logo for this channel. 👀

And fun fact: this is actually my first time designing a logo.

So instead of showing you the finished logo right away, I wanted to share the process the ideas, the experiments, the things that work…

Let’s see where this goes.

So… now that the logo is finally done, I think it’s time to tell you where the name Lily came from.

I’m the firstborn in my family, and when my little sisters and cousins were younger, they couldn’t really pronounce my name, Nolawit. my home name is Noly, but somehow even that was a little too difficult for them 😂

So they started calling me Lily, and somehow, that little childhood nickname stayed with me.

Whenever I hear “Lily” it takes me back to being a kid when everything felt a little more free, a little more playful, and we could turn the most random things into something fun.

I think that’s also what I love about being creative.

As we grow up, we sometimes become so focused on doing things “the right way” that we forget how naturally imaginative we were as kids.

You know… making things just because you wanted to.
Trying weird ideas without worrying if they made sense.
Being a little whimsical. 🌱

So Lily became the name for this little creative corner of mine.

And yes, I also have a special place in my heart for lily flowers. 🌸

This logo is my little way of bringing that part of myself back the curious, playful, slightly weird kid who just wanted to make things.

Maybe that’s what I want this channel to be about too. creating without taking everything so seriously.

Anyway… that’s the story behind Lily. 🧡

I’m working on my portfolio

I’ve been working on this for way longer than I expected,I keep changing my idea and got lil busy, so I’m planning it by this weekend ( even tho today is almost over)
