Shortly after writing these words, the Count was murdered — found with a gas pipe in his mouth to make it look like suicide. The murderers didn’t know the gas had been turned off. The death was ruled a suicide anyway.

E' polemica in Francia per il violento arresto di un'infermiera in camice bianco durante la manifestazione dei sanitari ieri a Parigi. Un video, visto già oltre due milioni di volte sui social, mostra poliziotti in assetto antisommossa che tengono la donna bloccata a terra e poi la trascinano con violenza. Una scena che fa discutere, dopo che, sull'onda del caso George Floyd negli Stati Uniti, la polizia francese è recentemente tornata sotto accusa per comportamenti violenti. "Questa donna è mia madre - ha poi twittato la figlia - ha 50 anni, è infermiera, per tre mesi ha lavorato fra le 12 e le 14 ore al giorno. Ha avuto il covid. Manifestava perché rivalutino il suo salario, perché riconoscano il suo lavoro. E' asmatica. Aveva il camice. E' alta 1,55 metri"...
