Heya, I've some great news! 🤘

The above pull request and all sources have been merged successfully and the tests went well. So the official release is just around the corner (ETA). Here is some information in advance.

The upcoming build needs to be flashed manually as the files are hosted at pixel experience. A dirty flash is possible but a clean flash is always the best solution and recommended. So take this as an opportunity to clean up your device. ;]
The future updates will be provided by the PE updater what makes it easier and faster for everyone involved.

> First of all, we want to apologize for the delay in releasing the August update for supported devices. But we have been investing into new locally-hosted servers for building as one of our build server sponsors - Equinix - has decided to part ways with us. This sadly means a slower rollout and download speed of updates for all devices.

> As Android 11 has started digging its grave, there won't be any major new features coming to Pixel Experience 11. But Android 12 just appeared on the acceleration lane and I will of course try my best to stay with you and bring it to the OnePlus 5 Series as well. :]

> Last but not least, here is this month's changelog. This and all upcoming PE 11 updates can be installed with the Pixel Experience Updater (System Settings). The Plus Edition will be released first as it has testing priority and it's highly recommend to use it rather than the "non-plus" one (Here's why). But the update will follow soon.

The Plus Edition will be pushed within the next hours.

Last week Google doubled down on security and Safetynet started to fail on almost all the builds, be it any custom ROM. But we were successful in fixing that issue, which will be rolling out with this update!
In other news, A12 is closer than ever – but as we have said before too we can’t give out a specific timeline for A12 updates or which devices will be getting it.

This channel celebrated its first birthday yesterday! 🎉
It has been more than one year now since I started working on Pixel Experience 10/11 and created this channel. Now, over one year, 15 releases, about 25000 group messages, a ton of work and countless commits and tests later, there are more than 3000 people from all over the planet using Pixel Experience on a OnePlus 5/T every single day. I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for joining this journey! Because what is such a project without users? Exactly, it's crap. You guys are insane, nothing would have been possible without you.
A very special thanks goes to all the testers and developers in the community and of course the entire PE team! 🤝

Starting from October 2021, there won't be any much bigger changes than security patches for PixelExperience 11 as we move our focus towards A12! And we are happy to tell everyone that you guys can expect an initial A12 beta update from November 2021 (no specific device ETAs).

Edit: This build was re-released on October 11 with the following fixes:
- DC Dimming
- Panel Modes
- F2FS support
So if you had issues previously, try again now. :)

The time has come!

Hey everyone.
I spent the last days working on Pixel Experience 12 for you guys. And in my opinion, it's good enough for a first alpha release now.
Even if it's not even November yet! :)

Since I will be very busy in the next week, I didn't want to keep you tortured anymore and give you the opportunity to check it out. The following is an experimental alpha release so please make sure to be aware of the known issues.

I will publish the PE12 alpha builds probably in the course of the day in this channel. They have to be clean flashed, so you already can start making a backup now! ;)

Furthermore, I have completely revised my website which will be updated today as well. You will find the known issues, a FAQ, screenshots and much more there then.

Last but not least: Building and adapting a ROM for obsolete devices takes a lot of time, tests and patience for everyone involved. We/I do this in my free time - for you - for free, alongsides a fulltime job, family and real life in general.
