"On the morning of 24 March, the Infoladen Scherer 8 in Wedding, along with other projects and individuals, was raided by the police. This resulted in the unnecessary destruction of part of its infrastructure and the theft of electronic equipment by stupid cops. We invite everyone to come along tonight and help us cover the costs of the damage so that the space can reopen as normal.
Infoladen Scherer 8 is an anarchist meeting place in Wedding that has been running every Sunday from 1 pm to 5 pm for almost four years. As well as offering zines and hosting various political events, it will soon be opening a small anarchist library section. The space also hosts other initiatives such as Basta and Rote Hilfe, who work there during the week."

I am helping to organise this concert by visiting American lefty folk-punk singer-songwriter David Rovics and the Berlin-based lo-fi hip-hop musician Liadland. Tickets are 15€. Proceeds will go to funds for the Lemontree Collective and Medico, who are providing humanitarian aid in Palestine and Lebanon.

We protest against the rapidly increasing surveillance and control by the state and corporations.
Many places in our city, including parks like Görli, are set to be under constant AI-assisted video surveillance in the future. In the name of so-called “security,” laws such as Berlin’s Police Act and the Assembly Act are being further tightened, and data protection is being increasingly undermined.
What the state and Big Tech call “security” means displacement, surveillance, and repression for many people. Digital technologies in their current form—developed, provided, and controlled by large tech companies—also contribute massively to environmental destruction and the climate crisis, make labor and housing markets even more precarious, exacerbate local and global inequality, and fuel fascism worldwide.

🎦 "48 Tage" ist ein Dokumentarfilm von Arjin Sahin, Sezen Kayhan und Tunahan Köroglu, der den 48-tägigen Streik der Beschäftigten der Charité Facility Management (CFM) in Berlin aus der Perspektive türkischer Arbeiterinnen beleuchtet.
2025 hat die CFM - Charité Facility Management - Servicetochter der Charité - für 48 Tage gestreikt.
Sie haben einen Tarifvertrag gewonnen, mit dem niemand gerechnet hat. Der Film zeigt, weshalb das möglich war.
In diesem Jahr streiken die Kolleg*innen der Vivantes Töchter für 100 % TVöD - der ihnen von der Politik schon vor Jahren versprochen wurde.

In this edition, participants will be able to learn about the Berlin job market, receive personalised counselling on careers in technology and other sectors, and learn how to navigate the Volkshochshule system to learn German in Berlin.

Как оставаться на связи с правозащитниками, если все заблокируют? Давайте придумывать вместе на хакатоне ОВД-Инфо!
Представьте: силовики задерживают человека на улице. Telegram заблокирован. VPN не работает. Мобильный интернет в регионе отключили. Как попросить о помощи?
Найти ответ на этот вопрос мы планируем на хакатоне, который проведем в Берлине с 19 по 21 июня.
▶️ В чем идея?
Мы хотим разработать решения, которые помогут людям в России оставаться на связи с ОВД-Инфо и другими правозащитными проектами в условиях блокировок. Среди задач — подключение новых каналов связи, коннекторы к мессенджерам, аналитика с анонимизацией, обход цензуры и кампании по распространению решений.
▶️ Кто может присоединиться?
— Инженеры, разбирающиеся в сетевых протоколах, распределенных системах или цифровой безопасности.
— Эксперты в области обхода блокировок.
— Дата-инженеры, умеющие проектировать аналитические системы с учетом приватности чувствительных данных.
— Разработчики, умеющие быстро собирать прототипы решений.
— Продакты, превращающие технологии в полезные инструменты для людей.
▶️ Что нужно для участия?
Зарегистрироваться. Сделать это можно до 17 июня по этой ссылке. Еще вам понадобится ноутбук — всю остальную инфраструктуру мы предоставим.
▶️ А что насчет безопасности?
Сотрудничество с ОВД-Инфо — не наказуемое деяние ни в одной стране мира. Но если у вас есть особые опасения по этому поводу, свяжитесь с нами напрямую, все обсудим.
▶️ И напоследок: какой формат?
Хакатон пройдет оффлайн в Берлине, с 19 по 21 июня. Его проведут участники ОВД-Инфо и других организаций, а также эксперты в области обхода блокировок, кибербезопасности и цензуры, журналисты и разработчики альтернативных мессенджеров.

GelisPark (or 歌麗司, literally bureau of beautiful songs) is a collectively-run space next to Görlitzer Park, Berlin.“Gelis” echoes the sound of “Görlitzer,” while also evoking 蛤蜊 gé lí — clams, a playful nod to opening shells and opening worlds。
