Korean Alphabet

Learning the Korean alphabet is very important because its structure is used in every day conversation. Without it, you will not be able to say words properly even if you know how to write those words. The better you pronounce a letter in a word, the more understood you will be in speaking the Korean language.

Below is a table showing the Korean alphabet and how it is pronounced in English, and finally examples of how those letters would sound if you place them in a word.

In Korean, dates and addresses are written from the largest unit to the smallest.
If you've ever found yourself in Korea, you may find yourself being asked a rather od question, what is your blood type? Although this might seem weird to us westerners, it's actually really common in Korea. Similar to horoscopes and the zodiac, some people believe that when you were born affects your personality, in Korea some people believe that your blood type affects your personality. Unlike horoscopes however, they are a constant. What's your blood type? Does it link up with the Korean stereotype?
