لتحويل الاسم من مفرد إلى جمع في الإنجليزية، نضيف غالبًا "s" إلى نهاية الكلمة:
Book → Books
Chair → Chairs
Pen → Pens
إذا انتهت الكلمة بحرف (s, x, ch, sh)، نضيف "es":
Box → Boxes
Watch → Watches
Brush → Brushes
📍بعض الكلمات لها جمع غير منتظم لا يتبع القاعدة:
Man → Men
Woman → Women
Child → Children
Foot → Feet
Mouse → Mice
احفظ الأشكال غير المنتظمة لأنها لا تتبع قواعد ثابتة .

الفكرة الأساسية:
نستخدم صفات المقارنة (Comparatives) عندما نريد أن نقارن بين شخصين أو شيئين.
مثال:
This car is faster than that car.
هذه السيارة أسرع من تلك السيارة.
تركيب الجملة:
Subject + verb + comparative adjective + than + object
تكوين صفة المقارنة:
- إذا كانت الصفة قصيرة (من مقطع واحد): نضيف -er
Ex:
tall → taller (أطول)
- إذا انتهت الصفة بـ -y: تتحول الـ y إلى i ثم نضيف -er
Ex:
happy → happier (أسعد)
- إذا كانت الصفة طويلة (مقطعين أو أكثر): نستخدم more + adjective
Ex:
beautiful → more beautiful (أجمل)
📚أمثلة:
- Ali is taller than Omar.
علي أطول من عمر.
- This bag is heavier than that one.هذه الحقيبة أثقل من تلك
- English is easier than Chinese.
الإنجليزية أسهل من الصينية.
- This city is more expensive than my town.
هذه المدينة أغلى من مدينتي.
