It is essentially a competitor to OpenAI, which Musk mentioned earlier.
At the core of the team are engineers and visionaries from DeepMind, OpenAI, Google Research, Microsoft Research, and Tesla. Some of them have trained GPT-4. So the team has enough insider information to recreate ChatGPT at the very least. Musk has pre-purchased thousands of graphics cards for the cause.

The device will reliably take care of the pet while the owners are away. The robot can be controlled remotely - for example, you can turn its head with a laser to entertain the cat or feed it from a special compartment.
And if the "fluffy" went out of sight, the AI will offer to look for him.
All this pleasure costs from 200 dollars.

John Lapham, general counsel at Shutterstock, said:
"We are at a tipping point in the use of generative AI technology, as business professionals are looking for more assurances about their rights to legally embed such content, and creators want to make sure their work will be fairly used in accordance with the license."

π€― The contest jury did not accept the iPhone photo because of suspicions that it was generated by an AI
The photo was sent to the contest by local resident Susie Daugherty. The photo showed her son posing with mannequins at a Gucci show.
Ian Anderson, owner of Sydney print shop Charing Cross Photo, admits he looked at the metadata on Daugherty's image but couldn't figure out if the shot was AI-generated. He believes the contest will eventually have a separate category for AI-generated photos.
In the end, Daugherty never won the $500 prize...

Google is testing its artificial intelligence (AI) technology, Med-PaLM 2, on patients of a network of clinics.
Med-PaLM 2 is a branch of the Google's large language model PaLM 2, trained on medical knowledge.
The AI-powered technology is used to obtain answers to medical questions and summarize analyses, records, prescriptions, and other documentation. It has the potential to be particularly valuable in countries with limited access to physicians. π€
In the spring, Google shared research that found Med-PaLM 2's answers to medical questions were of higher quality than those of practicing doctors in 8 out of 9 evaluation categories.
