In a major step forward, the now sleekly-encased robot can walk and handle an egg without breaking it. (Musk has previously stated he intends Optimus to be able to pick up and transport objects as heavy as 45 pounds.)

🤖 Dell, Nvidia and Super Micro Computer are collaborating to build an AI factory for the xAI supercomputer that will train and scale the Grok AI chatbot

Dell is building half of the server racks for the planned xAI supercomputer, and Super Micro is handling the other half.

The system is planned to use up to 100,000 Nvidia H100 GPUs, potentially making it 4 times the size of the largest existing AI clusters.

Elon Musk wants the supercomputer to be fully operational by the fall of 2025 to accelerate the development of Grok's advanced models.

With the massive capital being poured into the project, this massive cluster could be crucial to Grok's development and turn it into a serious competitor to OpenAI and Anthropic.
