🔞 Please mind that this post contains foul language. Skip it if you're against it!

Я в моменте [v mamente]
Meaning: I live in the present moment

• Я в потоке [v patoke]
Meaning: I'm following the mainstream

Я в ресурсе [v resurse]
Meaning: I'm full of energy, in the resourceful state

• Я в афиге [v afige]
=
Я в ахуе [v akhuye] ⚠️

'Афиг' is a derivative of the verb 'офигеть' [afiget'] (to be astonished/surprised).

This verb is a euphemism for 'охуеть' [akhuyet'] (a swear word that should not be used in polite society), and it, in turn, is related in meaning to the verbs 'остолбенеть' [astalbinet']/ 'оцепенеть' [atsipinet'] (be dumbfounded / become numb).

Meaning:
To freeze in surprise or fear, to become tense and motionless, like a pillar, a stick or a penis.

🎧🗣👇 listen, practice and stay в ресурсе и потоке but not в афиге!

•Хохлома
[ khakhlama]

🔻Khokhloma is the 'calling card' of all Russian patterns, the most well-known and recognizable both in Russia and abroad.

🔻Historically  khokhloma was a painting on wood - mainly on dishes and kitchen items, as well as on wooden furniture.

🔻Russian wooden spoons painted with khokhloma are especially famous overseas.

🔻The pattern is always painted on a black background with red, green and gold colours. The main khokhloma motifs are berries and herbs, sometimes the pattern featured birds, as well.

😳 Слушай, меня чуть кондратий не хватил!
[ slushaj menya chut' kandratij ni khvatil ]
🇬🇧 Man, you almost gave me a heart attack!

Чуть кондратий не хватил
[chut' kandratij ni khvatil]

Чуть кондрашка не хватила
[chut' kandrashka ni khvatila]

Literally:
'Kондратий /Kондрашка' (proper name) almost grabbed someone

Meaning
Someone almost died, almost had a heart attack, it is usually said when someone is terribly frightened or shocked.

Origin:
This expression is associated with the events of the Bulavinsky uprising of 1707. The leader of the rebellion, Kondraty Bulavin (“Кондрашка”), in a sudden raid, destroyed the entire royal detachment led by Colonel, Prince Yuri Dolgoruky. The rebels sent a dispatch to the Tsar: “Kondrashka Bulavin grabbed Dolgoruky”.
