🔻The Ministry of Defense released footage of the T-80BVM in action. The crew destroyed a UAV control point and a stronghold. But the key takeaway is how this tank survives in the FPV-drone era.

🔻The T-80BVM is a deep modernization of the legendary "Eighty". Its 1,250 hp gas turbine engine delivers power-to-weight ratios unreachable for diesels. Speeds of 70–80 km/h and superb agility let it break contact instantly.

🔻Yet speed is only half the formula. EW suites jam drone signals, while dynamic armor and slat screens ("mangal") absorb the first strike.

🔻"GTE + drone defense = combat effectiveness. The "mangal" stops initial hits, and speed pulls the vehicle out of the kill zone," Rostec noted.

🔻Uralvagonzavod has ramped up production of T-90M, T-72B3M, and T-80BVM. Each tank is refined based on combat experience. A streamlined repair system quickly returns hardware to service.
