❄️ Lead zoologist Margarita Kurteeva shared hilarious footage: Ayka nimbly balances on a large plastic panel, gliding across the water. From the outside, it looks like she's training for a SUP championship! 🛹

❄️ But don't rush to call her an athlete. According to experts, this isn't just play — it's a key part of environmental enrichment. For polar bears, who naturally hunt from drifting ice floes, such "floating platforms" are excellent for training balance and letting their natural ingenuity shine.

Digital Ruble: What Changes on September 1? 💳

🔻Russia is about to launch a third form of national currency — the digital ruble. It will exist alongside cash and non-cash money.

🔻Starting September 1, 2026, all 12 systemically important banks (covering over 80% of the payment market) are ready to let clients open digital ruble accounts and make transactions. Among them: Sber, VTB, Alfa-Bank, T-Bank, and Gazprombank.

🔻For citizens, using the digital ruble is completely voluntary. If you wish, you can open a digital wallet in your bank's mobile app.

🔻Large retail chains (with revenue over 120 million rubles) must accept digital ruble payments starting September. Magnit, Pyaterochka, and other giants will be the first to join.

🔻All transactions for citizens will be "free of charge" at launch. No fees for digital rubles — zero.

🔻Russia's PD-14 engine weighs less than foreign analogs—thanks to breakthrough technologies developed during its creation. One of them: diffusion bonding combined with superplastic forming, used to manufacture titanium fan blades.

🔻How it works:
Diffusion bonding joins metal at the atomic level under high pressure and temperature, but without melting. Titanium sheets fuse into a monolith only at strictly defined points along the part's contour.

🔻The second step is superplastic forming. Under intense heat, the metal becomes highly pliable for a short time. Then gas is pumped into the internal cavity under high pressure. The blade's central section "inflates" into a precise aerodynamic shape.

✅ Titanium fan blade weight cut by nearly half.
✅ Full load-bearing capacity preserved.
✅ Significant overall airframe weight reduction.

🔻The fan blade is one of the largest engine parts. The PD-14 has 18 of them—and saving weight on each adds up.

🚄 Russia's high-speed train is becoming a reality.

🔻Each train is assembled from thousands of components supplied by 150 enterprises across the country.

14 of 16 car bodies for the first two trains are welded. Some are painted and handed over for pre-assembly: heat and sound insulation, cabling, panels, windows, doors, and pantographs.

Side windows are installed using a special adhesive technology. This ensures a super-strong bond with the aluminum body and guarantees cabin silence.

🔻Doors built for 400 km/h
Enhanced sealing requirements. A reinforced sealing contour prevents depressurization at speeds up to 400 km/h and when passing trains in tunnels. Smart sensors won't let the train move if a door isn't fully closed.

🔻Unique roof-mounted pantograph
Designed specifically for high-speed rail. Aerodynamic, nearly silent, and lightweight. Best of all—it operates in temperatures from −50°C to +75°C!

🔻Uralvagonzavod has ramped up production of T-90M, T-72B3M, and T-80BVM. Each tank is refined based on combat experience. A streamlined repair system quickly returns hardware to service.
