The most unusual books in Russia.

🔸The first edition of the novel “Eugenе Onegin” by Alexander Pushkin, published as a separate book. This happened in Smirdin’s printing house on March 20, 1833.

🔸Soviet erotic alphabet of 1931, drawings for which were created by the monumental sculptor Sergei Merkurov, the author of numerous monuments to Ioseph Stalin and Vladimir Lenin.

🔸 One of the record holders, once listed in the Guinness Book of Records, is a miniature edition, less than 1 mm in size. It was "The Chameleon", a short story by Anton Chekhov.
The creator is considered to be Omsk artist Anatoly Kononenko.The publishing house released 50 copies in Russian and the same number in English. Each book contains a portrait of Chekhov, 15 sheets and 2 color illustrations.

🔻The Golden Ring of Russia includes such cities as:

🔻The Golden Ring of Russia unites old Russian cities of five Oblasts – usually excluding Moscow – as a well-known theme-route.

🔻These ancient towns were heavily formative to the centrality of the Russian Orthodox Church in society.

🔻They preserve the memory of key events in medieval and Imperial Russian history. The towns have been called "open-air museums" and feature unique monuments of Russian architecture of the 12th–18th centuries, including kremlins, monasteries, cathedrals, and churches.
