🔻The Russian verbs дразнить and дразниться both relate to teasing but:
[draz-nit']
To tease (someone)
🔻This verb requires an indirect object (a noun/pronoun in Genitive case) – it's someone who is being teased:
• Не дразни меня!
Don't tease me! /Stop teasing me!
[draz-ni-tsa]
To mock, to tease
🔻This form is typically used without an object, focusing on the act of teasing itself.
🔻Despite being reflexive, дразниться doesn't necessarily mean teasing oneself. On the contrary, the emphasis is on the process of teasing.
• Хватит дразниться!
Stop mocking!
• Прекрати дразнить меня!
Stop teasing me!

Zinaida Mikhailovna Tusnolobova-Marchenko is a symbol or wartime courage
🔻Zinaida was a medic of the Red Army in the 849th Rifle Regiment during World War II. Over eight months on the front lines, a young woman bravely rescued 123 soldiers, carrying them from the battlefield, before suffering injuries herself.
🔻After being attacked by a German soldier in Kursk, suffering from severe frostbite, and getting gangrenous wounds she became a quadruple amputee.
🔻With her injuries forcing her to retire from the military she spoke on the radio and wrote an open letter to the soldiers of the 1st Baltic Front which received over 3,000 replies.
🔻Following Zinaida's appeal in her open letter to the soldiers and workers, the slogan "For Zinaida Tusnolobova!" appeared on the sides of many Soviet tanks, planes, and guns.
🔻She was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union on 6 December 1957 and the Florence Nightingale Medal in 1965.

🥳 Today the world celebrates:
• Вceнapoдный дeнь ликвидaции пocлeдcтвий 8 Мapтa
National Day of Liquidating the Aftermath of March 8th
And
• Дeнь шoкoлaднoгo тopтa
Chocolate Cake Day
📎 I'm not hinting at anything, but these two holidays somehow go together perfectly.
Men, have you survived? :)

Брать 🆚️ Взять
🔻Both брать and взять translate to to take in English, but they differ in aspect.
[brat']
🔻It is imperfective. It describes the action of taking in progress or as a repeated/habitual action.
🔻Think to be taking, to take (repeatedly), or to be in the process of taking.
[vzyat']
🔻It is perfective. It describes the completed action of taking.
🔻Взять doesn't have forms of Present Tense, only Past and Future!
Example:
• Я беру эту книгу на работу каждый день.
I take the book to work every day. (Habitual)
• Я взял эту книгу на работу.
I took the book to work. (Completed action)
❓Which is correct (see the video episode):
A. Не могу эту штуку БРАТЬ в руки.
Б. Не могу эту штуку ВЗЯТЬ в руки.

Several years ago, a photograph of the Kexholm Regiment, taken in 1903 by an unknown photographer, circulated on the Internet.
🔻The photo depicts over 1000 people. It's enormous, and each face is clearly visible.
🔻The 42x94 cm print is matted and framed. Everything suggests that the photograph was printed using a contact process from a glass negative. It's highly likely that the camera capable of handling negatives of this size was either custom-built or made to a special order.
🔻Unfortunately, we don't know the photographer's name or the exact location where the photograph was taken. We only know that the Kexholm Regiment was stationed in Warsaw, and the year of the photograph is 1903. The caption under the photograph states:
📎 Did the man (in the right upper corner, Pic 3) look familiar to you?
