Russian has two ways of expressing future actions:

🔢 The perfective way indicates the intention to complete an action in the future:
• выходить (to go out) (Infinitive)
-> выхожу (Present Tense)
-> выйду (Future Tense)

🔻It can be formed by adding a prefix (вы-, за-, на-, по-, с-) to the present imperfective form of the verb (usually without a prefix):
• гуляю (I walk) — погуляю (I will walk)


🔢 The imperfective way indicates an action that will be in progress in the future with an indefinite result:

• Ходить (to go/walk) (Infinitive)
-> хожу (Present Tense)
-> буду ходить (Future Tense)

🔻 This form is formed using the verb я буду (I will)

🔻According to the poll results:
• Учить русский (to learn Russian)

The main staircase of the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg, created by architect B.F. Rastrelli in 1758-1761, is known by several names.

🔻The Grand Staircase, the Embassy Staircase (as foreign ambassadors ascended it to meet the monarch), and the Jordan Staircase (on the Feast of the Epiphany, the imperial family descended it for the religious service leading to the hole cut in the ice (Jordan) on the Neva River.

🔻Its pink columns were made of marble, and the decorative elements included wrought, gilded railings.

🔻The first flight of stairs was always dimly lit. This was done deliberately so that, upon ascending, guests would be presented with a breathtaking view of the spacious, brightly lit hall.

🔻Sunlight streams in through large windows and reflects off decorative openings.

🔻The architects intended that guests and foreign dignitaries would immediately appreciate the power and might of the Russian state, even before reaching the ruler's presence, simply by traversing this staircase.
