🔸️ I teach English to schoolchildren, and often communicate with English native speakers who want to learn the “great and mighty” Russian language.

Meaning:
🔻A jocular threat to punish sb.

Origin:
🔻This well-known picturesque expression gained wide currency after being publicly used by former General Alexander Lebed, a political figure in the late 1990s.
🔻It might have been used in terms of trainings when a soldier fell on the battlefield, did not die, but did push-ups and continued fighting.
