The first notebooks appeared in the Russian Empire in the 1850s-1870s.

🔻Before that time students wrote their notes on special wooden boards.

🔻Initially, notebooks were ordered from printing houses by stationery stores and did not have any lines inside. The format was a quarter of a typographic sheet.

🔻The cost was 3-5 kopecks. The standard green cover appeared before the October Revolution.

The terms 'ученическая' (literally: student) and 'общая' (literally: general) were used, depending on the number of sheets.

🔻Squared paper was used for arithmetic, lines - for writing.

🔻A Russian boy named Sasha was adopted by a family from America at the age of 9, when a child's psyche is flexible and adapts well to the environment, absorbing the culture and mentality of the host country.

🔻Perhaps the next 25 years of Sasha's life were no different from the life of an ordinary American boy: high school, College, joining the Army and being given a discharge later, trying several jobs and landing up with his dream job in aviation.

Overtime I realized how much I was lied to and all it did was embolden me to learn more.

🔻Sasha received a Russian passport and left for Russia.

Best decision of my life.

I became a Russian patriot the minute I discovered a Russian news in English where for the first time I can see what real progress was being made in Russia vs the American news I was forced to listen to and that was through Russia Today back in 2005!

The main difference between Russia and America is in Russia everyone deeply cares and wants to help you.

🔻What does it mean to be Russian:

To be Russian means to act and not talk about it to death.
Its also in the soul something I can't explain.

I took my Russian flag and have carried it with me to all the places we get ordered to go and wave it proudly.
