Fyodor Andreevich Makhnov (1878-1912): The Tallest Man in History?

🔻Fyodor Andreevich Makhnov, a peasant from Vitebsk Governorate (now Belarus), is believed by some to have been the tallest man ever recorded.

• His height was estimated at a staggering 285 centimeters (9 feet 4 inches)!
• His foot measured 51 centimeters.
• His hand was 32 centimeters wide.

🔻Makhnov's extraordinary size led him to work in a circus, where he captivated audiences with his towering presence. 

🔻Later, he used his earnings to buy back land from his former landlord, achieving a sense of independence.

🔻Though young women were afraid of his sizes, he also married a village schoolteacher and they loved each other. They had several children.
