The Day of Faceted Glass
🔻Actually, the faceted Soviet glass is not as simple as it seems. It has 14 facets, which represents the 14 Union Republics, and the rim at the top symbolizes Russia, which unites the republics.
🔻The creator of this symbol is sculptor Vera Mukhina, the author of the composition “Worker and Kolkhoz Woman” at VDNKh.
🔻There is a colloquial expression, which is not connected with alcohol though:
• Всё устаканится!
