👋Доброе утро всем!

Неправда 🆚️ не правда (ли)

Неправда and не правда (ли) are both related to the concept of "untruth" or "falsehood" in Russian, but they function differently in a sentence.

1. Неправда (femin.noun)
[ni-prav-da]
Untruth, falsehood, a lie

🔻It is used as a standalone noun, often in the context of something being false or untrue.

2. Не правда ли?
     [ni-prav-da li]
Isn't it true?, Don't you think?, Right?

🔻This interrogative phrase (rhetorical question) consists of a negative particle 'не' + femin.noun 'правда' (truth) + particle 'ли'.

🔻It is used to emphasize a statement or express agreement. It's similar to the English "right?" or "isn't it?" and it's often used to confirm an idea or to express that the speaker believes something is true.

Example:
- Сегодня хорошее утро, не правда ли?
- Неправда!

- It's a good morning today, isn't it?
- It's not true!

🔻"Testers" were a group of elderly cats from a shelter who were ill at the beginning of the experiment, but after taking the supplement they recovered and feel better, veterinarians said.

🎬 A series about Joe Biden's adventures in Russia is being filmed in Russia - according to the plot, the US president travels to Russia to figure out why sanctions aren't working against Russia.

Description:
On his first day, Biden loses his documents and finds a new friend - a real Russian patriot. Now Biden is forced to live in a typical Khrushchevka apartment, work as an English teacher to earn money for new documents and try to return to America. Meanwhile, CIA agents take a Russian pensioner Ivanich, who looks very much like Biden, to the USA.

🤫 Don't show this to Biden!

👋Доброе утро, товарищи!

1. Ругать (imperf.asp.)
[ru-gat']
To scold, criticize someone

2. Поругать (perf.asp.)
[pа-ru-gat']
To spend some time scolding
(mildly) someone.

🔻Prefix ПО- indicates an action limited in time.

3. Отругать (perf.asp.)
[at-ru-gat']
🔻Prefix ОТ- gives it a complete meaning and more negative connotation compared to simply “поругать”.

4. Наругать (perf.asp.)
[na-ru-gat']
This form is grammatically incorrect, used in informal speech, particularly by children or uneducated people.

🔻The actions of these verbs are aimed at 1 object (ругать/поругать/отругать кого? whom?).

But:
• Ругаться (imper.asp.)
[ru-ga-tsa]
=
• Поругаться
(perf.asp.)
[pa-ru-ga-tsa]
To quarrel, argue

• Выругаться
(perf.asp.)
[vy-ru-ga-tsa]
To swear, rap out an oath

Павильон "Катальная горка"
  The Sliding Mountain Pavilion

🔻The Catherine Palace in Peterhof is known for its magnificent gardens, filled with fountains and sculptures. However, the palace also boasts a more whimsical attraction: the Sliding Mountain Pavilion, a unique architectural masterpiece built between 1762 and 1774.

🔻The pavilion, named for the Empress Catherine II's love of sliding, is a charming wooden structure with a distinctive rounded roof. It served as a pavilion for enjoying the thrilling experience of sliding down a wooden ramp. The ramp was originally covered with ice in winter, allowing for exhilarating sledding.

🔻Today, the Sliding Mountain Pavilion stands as a reminder of the playful side of the Russian Imperial Court and the beauty of Peterhof's gardens. The pavilion is a must-see for any visitor seeking to explore the unique history and architecture of Peterhof.
