Imagine watching a video in your native language, with the original speaker's voice perfectly preserved. That's the power of AI voiceovers.
🔻Take this amazing example: Elon Musk's voice, dubbed in Russian, using AI technology! The results are astonishingly realistic, preserving the original intonation and delivery.
🔻This technology is changing the game for video localization, making it easier and more accessible than ever before.
❓What are your thoughts on this exciting development?

• Идеальная татуировка
[i-di-al'-na-ya ta-tu-i-rof-ka]
An ideal tattoo
🔻In Russia you can also hear it's short form:
• Tату
[ta-tu]
or its spoken version:
• Татушка (татушки)
[ta-tush-ka (ta-tush-ki)]
Also:
• Сделать татуировку (perf.)
[sde-lat' ta-tu-i-rof-ku]
=
• Набить тату (colloquial, perf.)
[na-bit' ta-tu-i-rof-ku]
To get a tattoo
🔻'Татуировка' is a bit longer than the simple English "tattoo," isn't it?
🔻The reason for this difference lies in the origin of the word. "Tattoo" comes from the Polynesian word "tatau," while "татуировка" is derived from the French "tatouage," which itself comes from "tatou".

Did you know that Russia has a monument to a firefighter cat named Semyon (Семён)?
🔻For several years, the striped "furball" lived at the 135th fire and rescue unit in the Tyumen region. The cat used to go to the daily morning lineups of the changing fire crews.
🔻The fluffy friend helped to keep the fire station free of rodents and lifted the spirits of the firefighters.
🔻Semyon soon got his own personalized fire uniform and was promoted to the rank of warrant officer. He even had his own account on VK, which is now devoted to all cats-firefighters.
🔻Semyon tragically passed away in the spring of 2023. There is a monument to him as a tribute to all four-legged friends who are on "duty."

Russia is home to a vast number of people from different nationalities and faiths. Despite our differences, we treat each other with respect.
🔵 However, every summer (regardless of the region in our vast and beautiful country, religion, gender, or nationality), a number of Russians traditionally divide themselves into two irreconcilably hostile categories:
Category📝 : те, кому жарко (those who are hot) with the air-conditioning off
and
Category📝 : те, кому дует (those who are drafty) with air-conditioning on.
🔵 These particularly "bloody" battles unfold in air-conditioned offices.
🔵 The struggle to "neutralize the icy air conditioning" against "creating an optimally cool temperature for brain function" continues until autumn, when the warring parties, breathing a sigh of relief, and unite to fight off autumnal depression, lovingly supporting each other with ginger tea and homemade pies.
