🤗Доброе утро, товарищи!

Я люблю vs Мне нравится

• Я люблю (+accusative)
[ya lyub-lyu]
I love

It is just a stronger, more definite version of:

• Мне нравится (+nominative) ('мне'-dative)
[mne nra-vi-tsa]
I like/I'm fond of

🔻When comes to things, foods, occupations, they are more or less interchangeable:

Мне нравится кофе.
Or
• Я люблю кофе.

Both verbs are OK here, the former is more like just stating a fact, the latter is a bit stronger and more passionate.

🔻When it comes to people and relationship, it's basically same as above, but with the additional nuance of being permanent and exclusive.

• Мне нравятся Римма. = I like Rimma.
vs
• Я люблю Римму. = she is the one. (it's the confession of love.)

🔻If you want to use something strong, you could also say:

• Я обожаю русский. (+accus.)
[ya a-ba-zha-yu rus-skiy]
I adore (the) Russian (language)

Российская империя в 19 веке

🔻At the beginning of the 19th century, the Russian Empire was located on a territory stretching for thousands of kilometers from the Baltic to the coast of Alaska.

🔻About 40 million people lived on these lands.

🔻The Russian Empire was a multinational country. Its territories were inhabited mainly by Russians. Ukrainians, Belarusians came next in quantity.

🔻The peoples of Russia belonged to different religions. About 87% of the population were Orthodox.

🔻The population of Russia was divided into classes. There were privileged classes - the nobility, merchants, clergy, and tax-paying classes - tradesmen, the Cossacks, peasants.

🔻Politically, Russia was an autocratic monarchy. The emperor was the head of state.

🔻Serfdom was abolished only in 1861 by Emperor Alexander II.

🔻The life of ordinary people was hard: women and children also worked for 14-15 hours but got much less for it.

🇬🇧 Why are you so сonstrained? Get relaxed!

The key:
This is a play on word 'закрепостить' - to enslave.
Its antonym is 'раскрепостить' - to liberate.
Whereas 'раскрепоститься' means to feel free, to relax, to not feel stressed or reserved.

🚀Доброе утро, товарищи!

Masculine nouns:
Космонавт (космонавты)
  [kas-ma-naft (kas-ma-naf-ty)]
  Cosmonaut(s)

Астронавт (астронавты)
  [as-tra-naft (as-tra-naf-ty)]
  Astronaut(s)

🔻The new word 'космонавт' was formed artificially in the early 1960s by combining the roots of the Greek words 'kosmos' - “universe” and 'nautes' - “swimmer”.

🔻The difference between 'космонавт' and 'астронавт' is just nationality. The word 'astronaut' was “invented” by an Englishman, whereas 'cosmonaut' - by a Russian.

🔻On the territory of the post-Soviet space, pilots and explorers of extraterrestrial space are called 'cosmonauts', whereas in most other countries the word 'astronauts' was used.

🔻On April 12, 1961, the Vostok satellite was launched into outer space for the first time with a person on board.

🔻The pilot of the the Vostok satellite was the Soviet pilot-cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin, who later turned into a symbol of space exploration and became one of the most famous people of the 20th century.

🔻The flight around the globe took 108 minutes, after which the ship landed at the planned location at 10:55 am Moscow time near the village of Smelovka in the Saratov region.
