Чайный гриб
  [chay-nyj grip]

🔻Tea mushroom, (also Kombucha, tea fungus, or Manchurian mushroom) is a fermented, lightly effervescent, sweetened black tea drink.

🔻By the early 20th century it spread to Russia, then other parts of Eastern Europe and Germany.

🔻Almost every family used to grow it at home in the USSR. I guess even nowadays there are people who grow this tea mushroom in Russia.

🔻Tea mushroom resembles a jellyfish swimming in a three-liter jar.

🔻It was said to reduce toxicity in the liver, have antimicrobial and antioxidant properties and even lower blood sugar.

Have you ever tried kombucha?

🇷🇺🛤️ The Trans-Siberian Railway is the longest railway in the world. It passes through almost all of Eurasia and connects Western Russia with the Far East. The highway was opened back in 1904.
The railway passes through hard-to-reach areas: permafrost, swamps and mountain rivers. Engineers adapted the rails to these conditions. No one had done this before the Trans-Siberian Railway!

The railway passes through almost 90 cities.

Где находится самая длинная железная дорога в мире? Конечно же, у нас!

Basta, Sevil, Valeria, Nikolai Rastorguev, Polina Gagarina and other Russian artists recorded the album “Hear My Voice” with songs by Muslim Magomayev - it was in his honor that the Crocus City hall that was attacked by terrorists was named.

All proceeds from listening to the album will be used to help those affected by this terrible tragedy. In less than 24 hours, more than 1.5 million people listened to it.

🐱Добрый день, товарищи!

🔢 Много (adverb/numeral)
  [mno-ga]

This characteristic indicates quantity. 'Много' = a large number

🔢 Множество (neut.noun, can be changed)
    [mno-zhyst-va]

This is a set, a collection of any (generally speaking any) objects - elements of this set. For example, 'множество разных видов животных' (many different types of animals) or a Maths term (multiplicity).

🔻Though 'множество' is considered to be more formal than 'много', both words are interchangeable in most cases (except for maths terms, of course).

🔻Both words require genitive case.

Станция 'Комсомольская'
[stan-tsy-ya kam-sa-mol'-ska-ya]

🔻The station 'Komsomolskaya' was opened on January 30, 1952 as part of the Kurskaya - Belorusskaya section.

🔻Stations on the first southern segment of the Koltsevaya line were dedicated to the victory over Nazi Germany, while those on the northern segment were dedicated to the theme of post-war labour.

🔻Komsomolskaya was designed by Alexey Shchusev as an illustration of a historical speech given by Stalin in November 7, 1941. In the speech, Stalin evoked the memories of Alexander Nevsky, Dmitry Donskoy and other military leaders of the past, and all these historical figures eventually appeared on the mosaics of Komsomolskaya.

🔻Komsomolskaya-Koltsevaya is considered one of the most richly decorated stations of the Moscow metro.
