[ rizidentsyja deda maroza ]

🔻In 1998, then Moscow Mayor Yury Luzhkov proposed to officially locate the residence Grandfather Frost, a legendary figure similar to Saint Nicholas, Father Christmas or Santa Claus who has his roots in Slavic pagan mythology, in Veliky Ustyug.

🔻The residence, which is a resort promoted as the Votchina "estate" of Ded Moroz, is a major tourist attraction which includes:

• Father Frost's house
• hotel guest complex
• cottage village "Russian Village"
• sports facilities (including swimming pool and sauna)
• restaurants and cafes
• Children's hotel
• children's playground
• slide attractions
• gift shops
• zoo and winter garden

🔻There is a dedicated post office there that answers children's mail to Ded Moroz.

Ёлочные шары
  [ yolachnyje shary ]
  Fir tree baubles

🔻The first glass Christmas tree decorations, according to one legend, appeared in Saxony in the 16th century - that is, before the tradition of putting up a Christmas tree in houses spread.

🔻According to another version, the appearance of glass baubles is associated with the failure of the apple harvest in Germany in 1848.

🔻Glassblowers from the town of Laushe made glass apples instead, which were sold with great success. And soon all the inhabitants of Germany began to order glass decorations for Christmas - these were icicles, beads, geometric objects, and figurines.

Словно ветер сани мчат,

[Slovna veter sani mchat]
Like the wind the sleigh rushes,

Звенит весёлый смех,
[Zvinit visyolyj smekh]
Rings out cheerful laughter,

С бубенчиками в лад!
[ s bubenchikami v lad]
With the bells along!

На санках расписных

On a painted sleigh

Прокатиться каждый рад!

Everyone is happy to take a ride!

И льётся наша песня
[i l'yotsa nasha pesn'ya]
and our song flows

С бубенчиками в лад!
[s bubenchikami v lad]
With the bells along!

Динь-динь-дон!

Льётся чудный звон!

Слышен смех со всех сторон,

🔻This is an unofficial international holiday.

🔻It appeared in the USA at the end of the 20th century; it is celebrated annually on one date - December 26.

🔻It was invented to support those who complain all the time.

🔻Whiners are supposed to be healthier than those who usually hide emotions.

⚠️ This post contains foul language. Please skip it if you're against it!

I want this mug!😏

Заебиссимо!
[ zayibissima ]

It definitely comes from:
1) the verb 'заебись' [ zayibis' ] to f*ck yourself (can also be used to express a wide range of strong emotions like surprise, anger, disappointment)

2) and a lovely Italian word 'bellissimo' which means 'beautiful/ wonderful'

⚠️ It's not necessary to use but what а creative approach!
