think I can finally talk about the progress of my plans for Porcelain Haunt’s return!

As many of you know, just a few weeks before my baby boy was born, I officially stepped away from work so I could fully embrace this beautiful and, at the same time, challenging chapter of motherhood. I’m deeply in love with what I do, which is why I kept working on my little monsters even during the final stages of my pregnancy. Naturally, every commission moved at a turtle’s pace, thanks to the incredible patience and understanding of my wonderful clients. I like to think that Dagger felt every spark of my creative process while he was still growing inside me. Every piece, every doll, every rush of excitement, every heartbeat racing with adrenaline as I worked while he peacefully slept in my womb, waiting for the day he’d become part of this wonderfully chaotic routine right here in my arms.

Porcelain Haunt

is the project of my life. What started as a simple hobby quietly became the realization of a dream before I even noticed it. Coming back feels like returning to the moment when the Laura from a few years ago found the courage to take a leap of faith without knowing if it would work out. My dolls carry pieces of my soul and my dedication; they’re my most honest form of expression, as well as a way of bringing together the endless collection of pop culture inspirations that lives inside the artist behind them.

I have to admit that my mind completely froze for a while because I kept wondering what I could possibly do to “make up” for the time I spent away. So, with a heart absolutely overflowing with pride, I can finally say that

I’ve been testing a few prototypes, and for someone as painfully perfectionistic as I am, Laura Lee, being genuinely satisfied with the results means a lot.

On top of that, I’m also exploring the idea of selling

prints and sticker sheets

featuring my artwork separately (many of them are already decorating my laptop, actually). I’m beyond excited to share this little
