According to reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, Kurdish political prisoner Hamid Hosseinnezhad Heydaranlou was secretly executed on April 21, 2025, without his family being informed, and at an undisclosed location.

Based on reports received by the Hana Human Rights Organization, on Sunday, April 20, 2025, a 17-year-old teenager identified as Ehsan Hamzehzadeh, a resident of Mirawa, Bukan and originally from the village of Qalovi, was arrested by security forces without the presentation of any judicial warrant.

According to reports received by Hana Human Rights Organization:
At dawn on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, the death sentences of at least five prisoners were carried out in Qezel Hesar Prison in Karaj.

The identities of these five prisoners, as confirmed by Hana Human Rights Organization, are: Amanollah Barahouei, 56, from Zahedan; Mahmoud Ali Naseri; Akbar Mousavi from Nourabad; Salah-e din Amoudi from Ardebil; and Abdollah Pashtoui from Afghanistan.

Haj Mamusta Saber Khodamoradi, son of Abdollah and a resident of “Dareh Ziyarat-e Olya” village in the Sarshiw district of Saqqez, a religious activist and the Friday prayer leader of Qoukh town in Saqqez County, was sentenced to 22 months of discretionary imprisonment by the Special Clergy Court in Hamedan on Wednesday, April 23, 2025. This verdict was issued following his summons and appearance before the court.

Dr. Bayan Salehian, an internal medicine specialist and social activist from the city of Saqqez, has been sentenced by the Saqqez Revolutionary Court to five months of discretionary imprisonment on charges of “propaganda against the regime.” This sentence was later commuted by the court to a monetary fine of 500 million rials (50 million tomans).
