There were 1751 runners in total ... 785 were women and 80 of them finished behind Susan. She was one of the ten oldest women to participate!

Part of today's marathon. These runners are about a kilometre from the finish and had been running for approximately 3½ hours at this point.

The winner crossed the line in 2:03 ... photo finish!

Lunch at La Brasa today. Stepped inside to take a picture of today's specials and Marco (one of the staff) decides to participate 🙂

We come to Sevilla for a number of reasons ... this is one of them.

After Susan's training run this morning we met at Bar Toro for coffee. Since she was wearing her Bétis jersey, José (a Sevilla FC supporter) immediately started giving her a hard time. However, he graciously posed with Susan and Carmen (a Bétis supporter) for this photograph.

There's a lot to be said for eating lunch under a fully loaded orange tree in Sevilla on a gorgeous spring day.
