About twenty minutes later, looking east. The roundabout is Plaza de Cuba, just before the bridge crossing the Guadalquivir.

Just for reference, our apartamento is where the green asterisk is drawn (to the left of META). The red line is the route of the ½-marathon.

Back to Casa Oliva for lunch today. Perhaps the best food quality/price ratio of all the places we frequent.

Two thousand and eighty-seven (which is a prime number) weeks ago tonight we embarked on our life together. This might be the first photograph of the two of us, taken two months and three days later as we had just finished moving into our first place.

One of our favourite camareros (Manuel) at one of our favourite restaurants (La Montanera) took this photo of us at our anniversary lunch.

They didn't have carrot cake but this will do – tarta de galleta de la abuela. None of our grandmothers ever made anything like this!
