Anniversary lunch selfie at La Montanera

The north tower of the Plaza de España which is across the river from our apartment ... 830 metres as the crow flies. We can see it clearly from our balcony although it is currently somewhat obscured by a construction crane 🙁

We had lunch at Bar La Brasa yesterday, a small establishment that we discovered last year. It has now become part of our regular lunch rotation. Pictured is an alcachofa rellena

We've been hearing robins outside our apartment the last week or so. Apparently northern European robins winter down here, which is understandable 🙂
