Another wonderful lunch at Bodega Vargas which we dedicated to our very good friend Suzanne who is poorly at the moment. She would definitely enjoy it here.

Lunch at La Maceta as we start our 39th year together with Manzanilla and toasted almonds.

Followed by a reprise of our first meal together as a couple -- potato salad (ensaladilla) and pork chops (pluma ibérico).

Back at El Manijero for one of our favourite meals ... lomos de merluza a la plancha. We usually accompany it with patatas aliñas, but today we had some very tasty champiñones a la plancha.

Our table at Por la Boca Muere el Pez is now stable! Not bad work from an electrical engineer.

Lovely little spot in the Maria Luisa Parque, about a ten minute walk from our place.

As is nuestra tradición we celebrated Groundhog Day at Blanca Paloma. Sergio (the bartender) remembered with only minimal prompting 🙂
