Things are heating up at KnotCoven 🕯️
This time, we’re exploring wax play — temperature, anticipation, sensation, and all the little details that turn a few drops of wax into an experience.
The workshop will be led by our dear friend and collaborator Angela, who will guide you through candle and body safety, different ways of working with wax, and ideas for creating sensory experiences with a partner.
There will also be time to try things yourself, experiment at your own pace, and ask questions along the way.
No previous experience needed — curiosity is enough 🖤
🕯️ Wax Play Workshop 📅 September 22 ⏰ 7-10pm 📍 KnotCoven, Belgrade 🎟️ 3.000 per person

October is the witchiest of months! 🕯️
The nights grow longer, the veil grows thinner, and naturally, the Coven has plans!
This month, our Shibari Evenings become Shibari Nights — a name that feels just a little more fitting as we move into the darker half of the year. But the spirit remains the same: rope, practice, learning and connection!
By popular demand, one of our Shibari Nights will be reserved for girls only — a warm, relaxed space for women to explore rope together, share practice, learn from one another and simply enjoy an evening in each other’s company.
On 10 & 11 October, we’ll spend the weekend with our beginners for a Shibari Intensive — two days dedicated to the foundations, first knots, technique and getting comfortable with the rope.
Then, on 21 October, we’ll go a little deeper with a more advanced Shibari workshop for those ready to take the next step.
And then… we disappear into the mist for two weeks 🌙
We’ll be back in November, just in time to begin our preparations for Balkan Bound and everything else we’re brewing for the season ahead!
Until then, come tie with us! 🖤

Semi-Suspension with Takate Kote Variations
October 21 · 19–22 · Knot Coven ·
Semi-suspension is a practice in which the model is partially lifted off the ground. Combined with Takate Kote variations, it becomes especially interesting: the tie changes weight distribution and pressure, creating different sensations and visual forms.
What is TK (Takate Kote)?
Takate Kote is a classic chest harness in shibari/kinbaku. It is valued for its stability, aesthetics, and the ability to safely work with load. That is why it is often used as the foundation for semi-suspensions and full suspensions.
In this session we will explore variations of this harness in the context of semi-suspension: technique, load distribution, safety, and how small changes in the tie affect sensation and form.
Technical requirements:
Ability to tie a classic Takate Kote (TK).
Practical details:
5 pairs. Ropes will be provided. We will help you find a model.
Important:
Semi-suspension requires attention to anatomy, communication, and safety technique. We work with consent, clear boundaries, and care for the well-being of all participants.
Come if you want to better understand how Takate Kote works in semi-suspension and how to interact with it consciously and beautifully.

Our little coven has reached 1,000 followers on Instagram! 🕯️
Almost ten months ago, Knot Coven began as an idea for a space where we could explore rope, learn from one another, play, connect and build a community around shibari. Seeing it grow into what it is today means so much to us.
Thank you to everyone who has tied with us, attended our events, supported our work, shared our posts, spread the word or simply followed along. Every person who has become part of this journey has helped make Knot Coven what it is 🖤
Instagram can be a fickle place, and our posts sometimes disappear after being reported, so we’re especially glad to have this little corner of the internet where we can stay connected with you.
And we’re only getting started! 🌒
We have so many plans brewing for the coming months: educational workshops, practice opportunities, gatherings, playful events and new ways to bring our community together. We can’t wait to share them with you.
🔥 If you haven’t already, make sure to follow Balkan Bound, our Balkan shibari festival happening this November!
You can also follow Vlada, Knot Coven’s owner and main rigger, on her personal profile to keep up with her rope work and other adventures.
Thank you for being here, for believing in what we’re building and for helping this little coven grow.
Here’s to more rope, more learning, more mischief and many more years of tying together! 🕸️🖤

Vlada is off to Germany for a couple of weeks, so Knot Coven will be taking a little break from our usual activities while she’s away ✨
But don’t get too comfortable without us! 🌒 We’ll be back soon, and we have plenty of exciting things brewing for the coming months.
Stay tuned for our November schedule, which we’ll be publishing in the next few days. Expect more opportunities to learn, practice, connect and explore the art of shibari together.
Until then, take care of yourselves, use this time to practice your knots, revisit your favourite ties, and keep exploring safely at your own pace.
See you soon! 🖤
