In Loving Memory of Ato Kassa Derara
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Ato Kassa Derara, who passed away peacefully. His funeral was held today, Friday, August 28th, in Addis Ababa.
His children—Hanna, Tizeta, Tesfaye, and Fikreyesus Kassa—came together to honor their father and lay him to rest, surrounded by family and loved ones.
During this time of sorrow, may God grant comfort, strength, and peace to his beloved wife, his children, and the entire Kassa family.
May the memories of his life, love, and legacy bring comfort to all who knew and loved him.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.

I would like to inform you that I will be traveling to Ethiopia for a one-month vacation. God willing, I will be attending the installation program of Abune Tesfasellasie Taddese as the Archbishop of Addis Ababa on September 6, 2026.
During my absence, the Sunday Mass schedule will be as follows:
• This Sunday and next Sunday, Abba Alazar will celebrate and cover the Sunday Mass.
• This Sunday, Abba Daniel Assefa will be the homilist.
• Following that, Abba Eyasu will take over for the next three Sundays.
