Apparently "the art of the deal" is promising big action then almost immediately walking it back with no concessions achieved. There is just no way this was ever the plan.
It is becoming pointless to listen to Trump partisans on anything. A few hours ago, the stock market crashing was a well deserved punishment to Boomers and the tariffs were part of a great strategy of reindustrialisation. Now, this was really all about punishing China. But what has actually been achieved? No one can say.
And for this stunt, the US is left with a spike in mortgage rates, a world rushing to de-dollarisation, and 90 days more of uncertainty around the promised tariffs. Rather than creating leverage for the US as part of a "deal", the bond market crash followed by the near-instant walk back has only shown how vulnerable the US is to attempting a trade war of this scale.

This is true for Ireland.
The Irish Nation survived independent of a hostile state for centuries due to these family networks and efforts to preserve it.
The whole purpose of the 1916 Irish Republic was to have a state that finally represented the true interests of these shared familial networks that kept the Irish Nation alive.
Anything that tries to destroy these networks or places others the interests of other groups above that of the Irish is not fit for purpose.

For the past month, the UK has been undergoing a national struggle session, caused by the release of Netflix drama Adolescence.

One of the judges handling my case (for which I am going to be given a prison sentence on the 16th of May) literally liked a tweet in which I am called "a disgusting fascist" and another tweet in which was said that if you want to be a successful leftist activist, you need to wear a toga (judicial gown), not a Ché Guevara T-shirt.
When this was brought to light the court decided it was a "personal political opinion of the judge that has no concrete or provable effect on the way my prosecution was handled". Which, again, is provably wrong, because the judge herself admitted that she is only looking for information "à charge" and not "à décharge" (= in my defence) AND because the judge deliberately and illegally ignored criminal acts committed by public television VRT when they were searching for dirt on me (they hacked a minor that was a member of a private chatgroup I was in).
If you think this is crazy, mind you that this is only a minor detail in seven years of judicial terror that has been inflicted upon me.
Oh and this judge's husband works for the VRT, the state propaganda services that committed the criminal acts and made the hitpiece on me that started this whole judicial terror. This completely made-up hitpiece serves as THE ONLY 'evidence' against me.
Their lies and treachery are going to come to an end. They may try to imprison me, but I'm not going to give up. I'm going to win.
