Final thoughts on the US election:

I'm very happy about Trump's victory. Not only has White America overwhelmingly rejected leftist hegemony, but they gave Trump an even bigger mandate after Jan 6 and his criminal trials, showing complete ambivalence to the value of democratic institutions and procedures.

I thought Trump was running a pretty lacklustre campaign in the summer, but the final few weeks were excellent, and I'm glad we got to witness a winning campaign where the candidate talked about remigration and Haitians eating people's cats.

Wokeism suddenly seems like a force in retreat – Biden won as a "dinosaur democrat," and his DEI VP lost even while sidelining a lot of the woke stuff and trying to run on more populist messaging. Now, it seems as if their future candidate will have to be even more careful to avoid the stench of wokeness.

I think it was worth supporting Trump this time around for the issues of censorship and illegal immigration alone, but now that he's in office in his final term there is no reason for anyone to avoid criticising him on policy.

Trump has a massive mandate to do mass-deportations – not only was it a central part of his campaign, but polling has consistently shown overwhelming support for it amongst the American public and especially his own supporters. Unlike something like Zionism, this is something nationalists can really hold a Trump administration to account over his own promises and pressure them to deliver – I doubt they will in any case, but the longer legacy of Trumpism needs to be centering immigration and igniting White identity politics.

There is a faction with more influence in Trump-world that would like to make the story one about colourblind meritocracy and a multiracial coalition against big government. Now that the campaigning is over this view needs to be attacked with more energy than ever, or the lasting legacy of Trump will be liberalising the GOP and stabilising America's political duopoly by bringing record blacks, browns and latinos into conservatism.

If the goal is to wake White people up to their erasure, we are closer to that goal than in 2020 or 2016. So for now, enjoy the leftist tears.
